  1. Thanks for the continued support !
  2. Thanks Gary, Never seen that picture before and she looks great in it. :)
  3. Just been reading through this thread again and it just dawned on me that it was started by Mandy one month ago today to let us all know the tragic news, the time has gone so fast that it shows how time is precious and we need to keep as many good memories as possible to reflect upon. I'm so glad that I did get to meet Mandy in person on a few occasions and share those memories with her.
  4. Knowing you Mandy you still will be logged in looking down on us so I'd just like to say you will be missed but never forgotten and will always be a part of our community.
  5. ok, I'll nip to the garage tonight on the way home. On mine which is a RHD loom there is about a ft of loom that bends round much like the old one used to (I think). Although the loom is very tough and I mind trying to bend it isn't easy.
  6. engines installed and I trial fitted it but its currently disconnected again and just sitting to the side as i'm doing some other stuff on the engine.
  7. I've got one fitted but not yet tested / powered up.
  8. not me, I always thought being a brand new loom increases the grounding capabilities.
  9. Happy Birthday !
  10. Believe it or not it passed straight through customs with no charges. And its well worth getting the transmission looms to go, all the connections are rock solid and makes the whole thing complete.
  11. are you getting it from wiring specialties ? I ordered a complete new loom and transmission loom too, mine was an auto converted to manual. Its not fully wired up but the gearbox loom fitted perfectly.
  12. great, your a step closer than me to getting a zed on the road ! What needs done now ?
  13. yeh, but it was fun to watch !:punk:
  14. Yeh, I mind that, I was there and you can see you and myself in shot to the left. It gathered a fair croud before the sheriffs arrived onsite !
  15. Awe, well then in general the won't let him in ! He's a noise hazard ! ;)
  16. They won't let him in, its a ford ! :)
  17. That comment could be interpreted in many various ways !
  18. have fun in the sun !
  19. If you happen to be wanting new red ones that fit at the back of the engine I can do them for £25 posted.
  20. Seen a few posts on this on facebook. Hope there ok.
  21. That's my wifes birthday and my zed wont be ready for then !
  22. It will be even hard to do it the other way round simply because the parts aren't available. Unless of course you find some one who wants to go the other way and you both do it at the same time. Fair Trade but with a risk of buggering up two zeds.
  23. Its a big ass task to do and its a complete strip down internally to the bulk head. Also mind since your taking the aircon parts out they will need to be degassed safely and refilled. I think i'm the only one known to successfully do it so I can be done but you will have to get donor parts like the blower, loom, ecu, pods from another breaker as they are all different. Also good chance that the door looms will be wrong too as mine were and I had to mess about matching the connections to get everything working.
  24. It could be that you have a short in the loom and it just so happens that when you plugged in the replacement pod it shorted and blew the LCD screen in exactly the same way as the first one did.
