Believe it or not it passed straight through customs with no charges. And its well worth getting the transmission looms to go, all the connections are rock solid and makes the whole thing complete.

are you getting it from wiring specialties ? I ordered a complete new loom and transmission loom too, mine was an auto converted to manual. Its not fully wired up but the gearbox loom fitted perfectly.

It will be even hard to do it the other way round simply because the parts aren't available. Unless of course you find some one who wants to go the other way and you both do it at the same time. Fair Trade but with a risk of buggering up two zeds.

Its a big ass task to do and its a complete strip down internally to the bulk head. Also mind since your taking the aircon parts out they will need to be degassed safely and refilled. I think i'm the only one known to successfully do it so I can be done but you will have to get donor parts like the blower, loom, ecu, pods from another breaker as they are all different. Also good chance that the door looms will be wrong too as mine were and I had to mess about matching the connections to get everything working.

It could be that you have a short in the loom and it just so happens that when you plugged in the replacement pod it shorted and blew the LCD screen in exactly the same way as the first one did.

had a similar issue on ours a while back and the trick was to tilt it 45 degrees for 5 minutes. The lets the ball in the valve move again and then it drains.

don't have a pic but its made by CarMad who is a trader on here so should cover any previous holes and be a good fit.

Hi, Between 1PM and roughly 1:45PM there was a internet carrier issue at a major UK datacentre in London, This may have effected your connection to the site or to other services. Certainly cut me off and 70+ staff at my work for about an hour so i'd thought i'd see if anyone else across the UK suffered the effects too ? Let me know. Lee
