Got these fitted too but not started her up yet !

Its bonded in with the usual glass bonder, but there is four clips at the top which will need cut. Easier job to remove since your glass is already smashed.

does anyone know if the bottom clips can be replaced ? I think I've got two out of 8 that are not broke.

Finally managed to get hold of UK quarter glass panels and today I stripped off all the old bonding and gave them a good scrub.

Its a fine place Prezzo; I've been to the one in Edinburgh a few times.

Plastic tends to have a memory and if very gently heated it will reform. Although never tried it myself or would be tempted to try it on my own zed.

Had mine converted to manual too and done most of the work myself. Having a manual gear changer beats having that golf driver any day !

I was thinking black but all the pipe work is going black and then the engine bay in general is also black. I might get it powder coated chrome however the throttle bodies can't be done as they have rubber parts. At the moment it just looks very dark so need some bling to brighten it up.

I still haven't decided on what to do with the plenum as yet; for now its stays o' natural but i'm thinking I should get it polished or powder coated to offset it from the purple. The engine bay is matte black, and various parts as you can see above are purple so what is best ?

Managed to spent a few hours on the zed today although no much to show for it. Bought myself a new set of shiny bolts and fitted the freshly painted cam belt covers. They are matching purple to with the rocker covers and a few other bits.

Just been reading through this thread again and it just dawned on me that it was started by Mandy one month ago today to let us all know the tragic news, the time has gone so fast that it shows how time is precious and we need to keep as many good memories as possible to reflect upon. I'm so glad that I did get to meet Mandy in person on a few occasions and share those memories with her.

Knowing you Mandy you still will be logged in looking down on us so I'd just like to say you will be missed but never forgotten and will always be a part of our community.

ok, I'll nip to the garage tonight on the way home. On mine which is a RHD loom there is about a ft of loom that bends round much like the old one used to (I think). Although the loom is very tough and I mind trying to bend it isn't easy.

engines installed and I trial fitted it but its currently disconnected again and just sitting to the side as i'm doing some other stuff on the engine.
