1. Looking into building my own garage early next year and was thinking about trying my hand at one of these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161701648252?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Not wanting to pay that price for it so my brother and I are thinking we can build it ourselves. Has anyone seen any plan anywhere that we can work from for these sort of projects ? I already have a fairly large hut with concrete base so expanding the base should be simple and a little ground work should allow me to drive my zed up and around the side of the house.
2. Have a good one Ian :)
3. Also boxed these up : ready to be shipped down for a retrim with Mondo.
4. Another small job completed, finally refitted the front water pipes. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
5. Took one off that looked as if it was designed for that pipe. I'm guessing gasket sealer will be good enough.
6. Does the lower water pipe need a gasket or will gasket sealer do ? Reason I ask is the remains of a gasket where on the lower pipe while I thought it would have been sealer.
7. Haha, just read my first post again. Yeh they were good while they lasted but not as good as the real thing.
8. I liked them enough, but I had doubts they were genuine hence this thread.
9. Its official then, I'm putting my interior rebuild in the good hands of Mondo.
10. Excellent advice there and I would rather pay to re-upholster my originals and keep it oem looking for the cost.
11. Yeh, The first thing I noticed was the gap at the top and could easily see in. I've ordered a pair of halo's for mine so will be another week before I seal them up again. I know Andy has done a few sets but no one has posted a best how-to on getting them fitted so I was surprised they are slightly smaller than the original inserts and need adjustment to look right. When it comes to details i'm a fussy bugger with a little bit of OCD so its likely just me, lol.
12. Thanks, Could you PM me a quote to upholster my originals then ? I have two electric and rears that I was also thinking of getting done.
13. Looking to save and get some new seats this year and came over these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301573882786?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Just wondering is the price right and has anyone ordered something like these from abroad ?
14. Maybe I'm too fussy but it doesn't look right to me. I've bought windscreen sealer to put it back together, I'll wait until my halos arrive and I'll try again later.
15. Also the larger beam area seems to be warped out of shape and is not straight square looking as I can push down on the centre part to square it off but nothing will hold that normally.
16. Can someone tell me how these blasted 99 spec inserts fit properly ? Everyone I hear says they fit perfect but mine are far from it. It may just be me but there is a huge gap at the top and if you push them back then it just moves to the bottom. I'm guessing I use some sort of apoxy glue or sikaflex to keep them moving too. Any ideas ? As you can see here you can see in the top of the glass and inside to the back end of the lights.
17. Check your wheels and ensure they have all the spigot rings !

20. Anyone know where I can get matte black vac pipe ? I hate the shiny pvc stuff on ebay and prefer the oem style. I need to replace all my washer pipe aswell as some other pipes and prefer the oem look.

22. Work has commenced only to be blocked by a water pipe gasket and a few clips. But managed to get the plenum fitted again and it gives a whole new look to my engine bay.

24. Sounds like you have a series 3/4 engine as the sender unit would be on the US Driver Side and Oil Filter On the opposite. I've recently bought a new harness from wire specialties and the connection is on the opposite side so i'm needing to somehow move the sender back to the opposite side.
