  1. Its about the only thing on conzult that is set right.
  2. Hopefully have a guy who knows a guy with a timing gun so will get that seen to in the morning. Whats up with the TPS as I thought 0.44 was a the good target voltage to get.
  3. Anybody tell me anything I don't know from this consult screen ?
  4. Think that's just because it's not been turned over for over two years. My main concern is the idle and all the smoke. Just hope I never missed a gasket somewhere.
  5. First start after 2 years : [video=youtube_share;Uo2PeV92JzQ] High idle and oil leak : [video=youtube_share;ixsCjJaMlgs]
  6. Back at the garage earlier and apart from not finding a timing gun I seem to have bigger issues. First is I have a bad oil leak which I haven't identified where its coming from but its dripping down from the oil filter so fingers crossed that its just needs tightened. The next issue is that after 30 seconds from cold start or warm start shits loads of smoke rise from both sides of the engine. The engine also has a extremely high idle of over 1400 / 1500 which I can't get down. I put a wee video up shortly.
  7. No it didn't, suggestions to what grease to use ?
  8. Looking for help with anyone in the west cost that has a timing light gun. Trying to get this engine setup over the weekend and can't find any local dealers who have a timing gun.
  9. Starter relay bypassed and started first time! Oooo and she is loud. Waken the zed up after two years woke the neighbourhood.
  10. Using the drive manager see if it shows in there. Delete the partition and recreate it then format.
  11. The plug on its own is actually part of the kit from wiring specialties and just figured out its to be plugged into the inhibiter loom. The manual conversion was done years ago but the wiring specialties loom takes care of like of the neutral switch and reverse lights with proper plugs rather than hacking of connectors. What I can't understand is how I bypassed this inhibitor switch previously as I've never touched the main relay. Only thing I can think of is I've just joined the park sensor cables together and now they are not by me cutting off the plug.
  12. 4mm and 6mm are the norm I believe. 6mm comes off the turbos, 4mm from the plenum at various points going to the blow off valves. I have hundreds of vac pipe and when I changed my colour scheme I just loom tapes all the red stuff I had now it looks oem.
  13. Also my brake rebuild kit arrived too; hopefully my brakes arrive tomorrow and I can start the refurb process.
  14. Apart from the starter issues today my new crimper showed up so I crimped up a new battery loom.
  15. think I've solved this one myself after reading various right-ups on auto conversions. Just need to bypass that switch which I now know is in the drivers side wheel arch.
  16. anyone know where the starter inhibitor is on a rhd zed ?
  17. Been reading up on a few oz forums and I believe that my zed thinks its still an auto so as part of the auto to manual conversion I think we need to bypass the starter inhibiter switch.
  18. Here's is the loom I have installed and what confuses me is the small loop cable you can see in the middle. As I don't remember connecting that anywhere.
  19. Not that i noticed. Dont have any bulbs in my headlights to test them. I have a wiring specialties harness and i thing something might be wired wrong with it.
  20. Due to snapped loom on my solenoid I need a replacement. Anyone got one ?
  21. no click so something but still be disconnected or wired wrong. Interior wise all my lights work but now when I put my front fogs on the dash illuminates which I don't remember ever happening before. All wipers work fine and tested front washers and the new jets I bought are awesome. To try and diagnose the issue I took the drivers side wheel off to get myself underneath but I only had the scissor jack and didn't trust it any higher. However I did find another unrelated fault in that the power steering solenoid looks buggered.
  22. Windows, interior lights, indicators, fogs, wipers all work just no ignition.
  23. Ok, three out of five were wrong, in that the colours changed between the harness and ignition. I now turn the key and have power but no ignition, not even a sign of trying to turn over.
  24. Seen those before but something doesn't add upp. When I turn the key to acc I get some internal lighting above head but nothing else, no lights on the dash either but if I turn to start I get full power but no engine start. Windows only work while forcing the key to start so that suggests something back to front.
