Purple Rain was done in House of Kolors Purple and cost me £2.5k I stripped it to a shell then rebuilt and it was done proper with all glass and the engine out. I have the new zed booked in for the first week in February and its going the same colour :)

As part of your traders package you are entitled to a banner at the top of the forum and within your own section. As traders have moved on the old banners have been removed so much there only is one trader who has an official banner left. For those of us that don't understand the knock effect I found this nice bit of reading

I remember pulling up at a garage just after leaving JAE last year and it was queued with jap cars trying to fill up in Kettering but the pumps were empty and we all got stuck trying to get back out.

we have a 4x4 and we will likely take the front bumper off so not to damage the front. On a bad note for some reason the back dif has completely locked out and it not in gear or on brake. Fingers crossed its a buggered backend only and doesn't follow down the single piece prop or to the gearbox.

Always used the premium fuel on all my zeds unless I get stuck and have no choice. And it was my understanding that the lower octane fuel was bad for the injectors or something.

it does but the carpark is mostly gravel / stones so the jack will likely just bed down in the soil. I think we will likely take off the front bumper and attach a rope and give it a pull across the path.

Don't really want to buy those to move it 5ft then never use them again. We are going to try drag it as the back diff seems has locked out and the wheels won't turn.

I would say its a scarab bumper sold by zcentre

Nipping over at lunch to see what the mess is. Then need to figure out how to move her into one of the parking bays.

First glance the bulb in my lights seem elongated but that could just be the reflection. They do seem brighter than normal.

I'll check it shortly as haven't actually looked. But it comes on with the indicators and its direction is pointing to the side rather than front.

Ah, is that what Kirb lights are. Its weird but my last series 4 zed never had them; was it an option ?

Just bought my new zed and it has these, kinda cool and a big surprise when they came on :) When they do it they light up the full lane next to me. Anyone else got these and are they legal as they are very bright.

Woo, The purple rain has arrived back at the garage :) However the garage folks are not so happy as its been dumped at the door :(

Second day of the new zed and the first piece of a new puzzle arrives :) Just need to figure out where to put it.
