  1. Yeh, that's what I thought about a ft which I've accounted for.
  2. Really, never knew that. Even if its at the end of the garden and now where near any other building.
  3. So who's got or built a log cabin garage ? I'm really interested in doing a cabin style garage rather than breeze block.
  4. that's because I done the orginal drawing metric then I used google to give me the ft measurement. 1/2 way through the drawing ended up with both on it.
  5. Yeh, But I want it to last a very long time, I did initially want a log style cabin garage but I think I can get a breeze block style cheaper. And anything over 30sqm over hear needs planning no matter what its made from.
  6. rough measurements of my garden :
  7. Putting my rebuild on hold for a month and a bit as the work for my garage gets under way. Working out costs and building regulations but plan is to take out approx. 130ft of hedge, replace that with a nice new ranch board style fence then build a 22ft by 20ft zed garage at the back of the garden. Trying to get it as wide as possible up to the fence but really would like to skip on the fence at the back and just build the garage from breeze block unto the edge of the garden. The back end of the garden only measures about 18ft but the hedges are nearly 5ft wide at the back so we will be gaining another 5ft after they are gone. Here's a nice pic from my camera so should be able to capture the build progress nicely.
  8. I've been at JAE every year since 2009 and last year was my last and that was decided on before I knew the prices went up. The move away from Kettering was a big mistake and apart from entering the show and shine last year I never really enjoyed it. 2015 was the year to end it for the club and I doubt we are going to support it again as a club; at least i'm not.
  9. Happy birthday Simon :)
  10. Get one from a breaker else try MJP but likely it will break the bank. That picture is fairly deceiving as the part is a lot bigger than pictured.
  11. Don't see any issues with your account. try clearing your browser cache in case its storing settings when your subs ran out at the start of march.
  12. Not technically a member but he's worth a shout out as he rocks :punk: [video=youtube_share;V5iTQf5PDyY]
  13. Shame to see Ronnie Corbett has passed at 85. Best clips of the two Ronnies is the four candles sketch & the swear box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaGpaj2nHIo [video=youtube;p-TNrSDVGi0]
  14. Happy Birthday Craig, all the best.
  15. I think its the actual controls rather than the backs :)
  16. Try Mike MJP - but manual controls will be hard to get. Otherwise try Conceptz or z1 If you find them below ensure they are for RHD. https://www.conceptzperformance.com https://www.z1motorsports.com/
  17. Just need to be proficient at crimping and use the correct tools. I have seen some dodgy connections on zeds I've seen but as long as the crimp is suitable for the gauge of wire and its solid it should be good enough. not that i'm saying its better than the old solder technique.
  18. I've never personally like this method of cutting into the track as there is no way back. When doing mine I just cut the cable on the loom and put a bullet connector on both sides then if for any reason I need to take it out just plug them back together.
  19. So only one person going to St Ives then ? :tt2:
  20. Looks clean but I recognise it from somewhere, think its been up for sale before. I would hold out and but a zed from gaz : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183408-Coming-Soon!!
  21. I can only answer a few of these from experience : 1.), Hell no, i nearly spun mine coming out of a junction yesterday doing 20mph 2.), only teenagers without legs, anybody over 4' or with long legs will have issues. worse if the driver has long legs and puts the seat back. 3.), lee Dent , LA Auto 4.), for a really mint zed about 5.5k, just bought mine last year for that and its an auto series 4 with 47k miles. 5.), maintenance depends on the condition of the zed purchased or how handy a mechanic you are for DIY. 6.), See the FAO section on the main toolbar. 7.), I say fresh import as UK cars that I've seen are all rotten.
  22. Thanks mate. :)
