Hello!!! :) I may be going to the dark side :/
Typo - you mean worse looking of the big 4. Looks very dated now and boxy. Only reason to get one is the retro cool of pop up headlights (I'd love a car with pop up headlights :cool2:) Why don't you put your TT on the road over winter and very for the summer.

I'm not used to this......
I don't think the UK cars ever got the PTU update.

low mileage
Mileage has grown to the dizzy heights of 13K now. I bought it in May 2009 and it was on 11,900 by the time I got it home. I've hardly used it since hence just over a 1000 miles in 4yrs.

is it possible in 10 days
No :)

N/A auto. what are they like?
NA and Auto don't mix. They barely move under there own steam. Chav's in their corsa's and saxo's will sail past. TT is he only way forward, otherwise don't bother.

Z1 Side mounted intercooler help
I have them on my car which has a 99spec front end. No problems with the fitting apart from trimming the stock intercooler ducts. No cutting of the bumper or indicators was needed. I bought my intercoolers nearly 5yrs ago but I'm presuming they haven't changed.

Brake fluid capacity
The general consensus seems to be 1.5 litres. I'll pick some up and report back. Indeed I am. Promised myself I'd get one of them back on the road this year. Hopefully it'll make an appearance at JAE this year as well.
-
Brake fluid capacity
Car is currently partially drained of brake fluid after refurbishing the calipers. How much fluid will I need to replace and bleed? Will a litre bottle suffice? I can't seem to find a definitive answer searching and the manual doesn't say.

Yay - Another MOT pass
Great news Richard. My GTR had its first MOT today, unsurprisingly it passed. Hopefully i'll get a 300 MOT'd soon and back on the road.

No you can't. If its not legal it must be on a trailer.

car tax
My understanding is if you purchase the tax renewal online before the existing one runs out you have 5 days grace to allow for delivery. However if you purchase after expiry e.g. The 1st or 2nd you no longer get 5 dys grace and must wait until the disc arrives.

Bought a GT-R
Enjoy it mate. I've had mine for nearly 3yrs now. Still love it just as much, although don't drive it as much as i'd like - it makes it all the more special. I've toyed with the idea of a Litchfield upgrade myself, but i'm happy with the stock performance for now.

Well its not every day that Vodkashots rings me...
Would that be the one on the left or right? :whistling:

Should I return my car to standard?
Do you have all the stock items already? If so it may be worthwhile as the mods don't attract much of a premium and you should be able to sell them on easily enough. If you have to source the stock parts though I wouldn't bother.

Brake pipe options
Thanks, I'll drop him a message
-
Brake pipe options
Is this a standard set he stocks or was it made up specially. Was it simply a direct connection between the existing hard pipe on the wheel arch and the caliper. Can you give me an idea of the price? Thanks
-
Brake pipe options
I want to replace both the hard and rubber pipes for a braided or flexible pipe, not a solid pipe
-
Brake pipe options
I need to replace the rear rubber brake hoses. I would prefer an aftermarket pipe that replaces both the rubber and hard pipes for a direct connection to the caliper. I've seen the Hel pipes sold by Z Centre, but they only replace the rubber hose. Does anyone know of any suppliers of what I want.

In court tomorrow and after some advice
Congratulations on the win It's a shame though that you have to fight to prove point, rather thean innocent until proven guilty. I had a sitution many years ago where it was my word against the copper and like you I couldn't believe his word was sufficient as proof - although like you I had my day in court and won
