Is there any precautions I should take before starting a zed that's been unused for approx 2yrs. Is there any need to crank it without firing to get the oil moving? Or any other suggestions?

I prefer the stock look. Gives the front more interest and shows off the lines.

The 99spec style one. It's insured and road ready. Unfortunately the Sultan car hasn't been driven for some time and I'd have to spend time and money for my own piece of mind before driving any distance. It will need a full service before going back on the road. However, the car i'm bringing ain't shabby. UK Manual with 56,000 miles on the clock and in immaculate condition.

The problem is that you can still only have a refund for full months. Therefore is you sold your car on the the 15th you'd lose 15ish days in tax. Likewise the person buying the car has to pay for a full month, but would lose 15days worth. All quids in to the DVLA!

If i do sell it'll be my other zed. If I was keeping just one I'd keep the original unmodified one. A tough call though and given the value of them it's tempting to keep both even if they don't get driven.

If anything I need to downsize. I'm considering selling one of my Zed's in the future.

That must be all UK Zed's then as in the UK there were only series 1 & 2. The UK series don't correlate directly with the JAP series.

I plan to tax one of them for summer so in a 300 for certain. I did tax one last year but only used it twice. Need to get out more!

Agree with the above. The 5 series may be a better car but the Zafira is much more saleable and will appeal to a greater audience.

As Yowser says then combo of NA with Auto fairs low on the desirability list. A manual is better suited to the NA engine. However, a test drive will show if its the car for you. Value wise I wouldn't pay more than £2.5K

Yes, particularly a NA. I've got one of Clarksons Xmas vids where he's comparing it against 10 or so other cars along with Richard Burns and someone else. The 3000GT was one of the first to be discounted as a big heavy lump of shit.

Old age is obviously affecting your brain. First time I've heard a 3000GT/GTO described as better looking than a NSX.
