  2. looks like someone is trying to make some cash on the postage system with low cost items.
  3. wonder if the engine comes with turbos lol
  4. what you on about, quick t-cut and that will buff right out mate..... :innocent:
  5. Ok matey. bring the Zed, want to see Bayside blue on it in the flesh :D
  6. Could be a faulty fuel pressure regulator or worst case an injector, the fuel system holds pressure even when the engine is off, this is why any work on the fuel system at the engine side of things, needs to have the fuel relay or fuse removed, and then try starting the system, to relieve the pressure. it could also be a faulty fuel pressure regulator, start at the fuel pressure regulator and work your way back to the fuel filter. as these are the easiest to get to. if you still have this problem, only option to try would be the injectors. and although you can get them out with a dremel some long nose locking pliers and a few screwdrivers. it would be much easier with the plenum off. and take the fuel rail off with all the injectors in one go, and have a look. Im sure Jeff with a bit more knowledge will help once he gets online. but thats where id start.
  7. lol well worth a try, unfortunately i no longer have my old engine, so cant do any measurements for you, or i would have. i too need to replace a bit of pipe, and this information would be handy as it seems wrong to replace just the one and not the rest with it.
  8. Another update, yay, well found out where the water leak is, its a small bit of rubber piping that bridges two small metal pipes, under the plenum on the passenger side and then runs down in between the turbo turbine housing. it drips down the side of the turbo, and ends up on the floor. so need to get that sorted out now. means I'm going to have to employ a small child for some labor  , well looks like ill be removing all the loom and pipe work down the left hand side of the engine. Once that's sorted out, ill know if I'm losing water else where.
  9. measure them when you take them off, if your removing the plenum anyway, may as well, but if i remember correctly, Dan @ DTA does all the replacement pipes so he would know.
  10. aww thanks guys, pictures really don't do this color justice, was actually looking at a skyline r32 in bayside blue before i settled for the 300zx. Art, get some photos and sort out a my rides page :) or bring your car round an ill get the digi cam out and do some for you. Cant wait to get mine done now, also going with a cream leather interior as well, the combination is going to look really good, and will brighten up the inside as well.
  11. Can people with a bayside blue 300zx please post a few pictures of there car here please. I'm going to be getting mine done in this fantastic color, and would love to see what others Zed look like in it also. Thank you very much.
  12. I have a water leak, might not be as annoying as a oil leak, still darn annoying, considering its looking like the passenger side turbo
  13. apparently a turkey can last up to 3 months in a freezer ready for Christmas. Well so far, I've gone through 5 of them, and all have been dead within a day or so...:w00t: I love these smileys
  14. that is nice, love what he says about the interior - s****y lol
  15. Takes bloody ages to cook though.... might have to install a more upto date microwave in it tomorrow. my chicken is starting to stink.:whistling:
  16. Your right, but also its a JDM, the light lay out is the same as my S1 JDM, yet my UK car has the same light lay out as the top picture (water bottle level light)
  17. correct, top = UK, Bottom = JDM
  18. well that will be the "chicken done in the micro wave is ready" light. Now just remember, marinade the chicken, baste, leave to stand for 1min and serve. Stick your head under the car, see if its been decatted, if so, just take the bulb out, job done. I love how they have labeled the "OFF" switch lol, like you wouldn't of know by looking...
  19. just noticed something, why do the US get a free vehicle report from experian, and us Brits don't? actually, scratch that were Brits that's why, we get charged for everything...
  20. should be able to get it done in around 3 to 4 hours mate. what are you doing with the tubs? i need some lol grats by the way. its fun isnt it :)
  21. for the mot you should have a rear fog that comes on and a switch that illuminates on the dash to let you know its on. do you have a rear fog? most on JDM's are mounted onto the rear of the bumper. did it get reconnected and put back on the bumper when you changed it? did the MOT station even know what switch to press for the rear fog?
  22. S1 PTU is silver with fins on it and two connectors one on either end.
