  17. Damn it, nailed it down to a iffy PTU. got cylinder 6 firing by cleaning the connections up, and even moving it to near the Fuse box, but number 4 is refusing to fire no matter how much loving i give it. so looks like its new PTU time, or a replacement at least. typical it goes the same week i had it booked for MOT. guess ill have to cancel now till i get it sorted out.
  18. always nice to see a super car with rover200 rear tail lights
  19. yeah i did that to, i swapped the coil pack for the one next to it. so to be honest, it cant be the coil pack, as it still wasn't firing so its either the wiring loom, or something to do with the spark plugs. the only thing Ive changed engine wise recently is the spark plugs.. So really need to put the old ones back in and see if that's the problem.
  20. that was the first thing i checked, they are all happily clicking away.
  21. already installed matey, relocated the turbo timer. my new gauges came through yesterday as well, so need to get a pod of some sort, just retrimmed my arm rest as a test and fitted it to the car and its looking fecking awesome, cant wait to do the rest now. Had the PTU off and cleaned the connectors up, didn't cure the problem, im wondering if its these spark plugs I've put in, so tomorrow at some point.....hmm busy tomorrow, well Monday at some point going to change them back for the old ones and see if that cures my miss fires on 4 and 5. is there anywhere to relocate the PTU to? And yeah baz, it was nice to finally meet you in person.
  22. dan where did you get your sniffer test from?
