  1. What would be the best way to wire in a inverter to come on when the ignition is turned on, rather than running to the back of the car and hitting the power switch, or in my case as ive extended the wire, hitting the switch in the cabin. Id like it on the ignition so i dont forgot to switch it off when exiting the car and running the battery dead.
  2. Fixed my passenger side indicator on the front bumper, apparently the wire for the middle prong decided to let go so had to get the soldering iron out and redo it.
  3. was working with my dad in his articulated lorry, we were at a red light in a busy intersection in london, only thing we could do to let the ambulance past was actually block off the intersection by jumping the red light and pulling into the junction, once the ambulance past the other traffic let us get out of the way (not that they could do much about it lol) But recently i see a bunch of school kids, press the button on a crossing with 2 police cars there with blues and twos on, and the kids just casually walked across the road when the green man lit up, apparently oblivious to the cops trying to get somewhere and forcing one of them to hanker on his breaks to avoid hitting the kids. Id of not mounted the curb though, ive had police speeding up my ass in town before and as the curbs are so high, all i did was floor it till i got to a safe location to let them past, that way they maintained response speed and i wasn't hindering them., surprising how they say thanks in a situation like that.
  4. Welcome back Si, Suppose i best get my arse into gear and get this veilside kit and dumper valves off my car then, and no dog crap this time (not that i did the first time as was bantering)
  5. Yep, absolutly shocking to be honest, they gave up human rights when they murdered there victims.
  6. You would only need one to house the OS, would speed boot time and also access time for running programs.
  7. No SSD? But looks impressive non the less.
  8. When i get home will reply properly dude :)
  9. ill bring my other 3 man tent for Dazvert, i really couldn't survive watching him squeeze into that single man tent with a blow up mattress again like that.
  10. because half the time club members do not know the full story behind the ban.
  11. thats the one im hoping to avoid, i just need to drain the fluid out of the pot with out making a mess in the engine bay
  12. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?168909-JAE-2013-12th-15th-september Vodkashots - thursday till sunday.
  13. I want to change my power steering pot over for my chrome one, whats the best place to drain the power steering fluid with out getting it everywhere, i know about the pipe join in front of the steering rack but would rather not touch that pipe due the aluminum nut on it.
  14. Be nice if we can have a thread like this that doesn't deteriorate into a point scoring exercise, its things like this that do not help in the slightest, there is a time for banter and a time for just a good old fashioned discussion, where points are made and views put across where everyone respects everyone else, instead of someone standing there trying to stir the pot. Every banned members application will be looked at on a per case basis and whether or not its going to be detrimental to the forum and its members, the committee will then vote and they will either have their ban lifted, or it will stay, its that simple. i cant believe this thread has got to this.
  15. Well, regardless what we say in this post, its been made perfectly clear that who ever reapplies the same rules will apply, their case will be looked at and voted on by the committee so regardless if stellaz or anyone else on the moderator side have a personal view, it really doesn't matter, its for the committee to vote on it.
  16. My car at RGS rolling road day for meningitis UK My car at RPM yesterday at billing, if there was an award for car that drew the biggest gathering of people round it, mine most likely would of won. There was a hell of a lot of shows on over the weekend, what with japfest, santapod, F1 on tv, billing, RGS, and other events. but as said before, Getting people to attend is the main area things have always seen trouble in. Japfest is always a big zed drawer and so is JAE. Japshow, although was a regular fixture on our calender a while ago, has only been revived again since last year, we had a good turn out then, but not so much this year due to people pulling out at the last min. I dont have the best paint, i dont have the best interior and my alloys are in heavy need of a refurb, my engine isnt as shiny as it once was either, but i still go.
  17. Again, commented on said post from banned member on the other forum, didnt state anything like this over there, seems how lee can not defend him self over there, why not suggest the same?
  18. but you have commented on said post on other forum yet not stated the same thing? ok..... you feel its ok for said banned member to drag someone elses name through the dirt on a different site. Sorry harby, ive met you, i think you are a genuinely nice guy, but thats a bit one way traffic in its self that comment is.
  19. I have 37 invites to car related events this year, i represent our forum every time i go to one of these meets, im usually the only 300zx there, we also have a fortnightly local meet and a large cruise every Sunday at Milton Keynes, I daily drive mine, its my family vehicle, Mark Derby helps me out with in between meets for our members at the major attractions around the country, and i pretty much arrange the whole JAE thing which is our yearly Big meet that most people wait for. Having been behind the scenes on this car meet thing, i have a pretty good understanding of what is involved in getting people in zeds to these meets, and mark will also agree with me here, that we can arrange meets all we like, but getting people too attend once they have their name down, is another kettle of fish, we should of had 30 cars turn up for japshow, yes its not everyone's cup of tea, but as far as i care, its a chance to meet other z32 drivers outside our main meet in September. Now you say you want to help plant a seed and get people to all band together, which is a nice idea, many have tried, and the reason it usually fails, is because members will say they will attend, but then pull out last minute either due to weather (not many like driving their zed in the rain), due to repairs, due to cost, or due to distance involved in traveling. we own a rare car, we are mainly dotted around the UK and for some, 300miles for just one night or a day, just isnt worth it. I am off to RGS motor sports tomorrow for a dyno day to help raise awareness for meningitis, i have been formally invited mainly due to my car, it helps bring in other people with other supped up jap vehicles, the last dyno day i went too was for help the hero's and i won highest power out put for the day :) If anyone wants to come along, it starts at 9am and its at RGS motorsports on the layland industrial estate in wellingborough.
  20. I have had items delivered to me from said parcel company that have been damaged in transit and signed for, the seller still managed to claim on insurance, reason being is, you stand there and ask a delivery driver to wait while you inspect them and they say they haven't got time, they are multi drop drivers with a strict time limit of where they have to be.
  21. thats because you only deal in quality bud.
  22. aah that's better, higher quality pictures of the forsale thread one, if you zoom in you can actually see what looks like dried araldite along that leading edge, abflug? yeah not sure i follow that as new from abflug in that condition, doubt they would even release that from the warehouse with that nasty line on the rear leading edge.
  23. Been a spurs fan pretty much all my life since my uncle took me to see them in london play arsenal back in 83, i was only 5 then. But as i was born and raised in Germany it was Bayern Munich while over there, Spurs was due to my dad being born in tottenham.
