Anyone know any other supplier of eagle conrods for the 300zx? I need to replace one, been to the eagle website and emailed them, they said best to order through a supplier, i emailed z1 but have had no reply from them. I also need to weight the big end and the little end of the rod, but not sure how id go about doing that as they are one unit.

well, as you will be removing the exact same item so will have access to the bushes, its up to you what you want to spend, £5 plus postage on the bushing, or how ever much the short shift comes too.

im running Z1 side mounts, mahoosive things, haven't had a problem with them apart from my front bumper, (although mine isnt standard) had to cut the back off the indicator lights and poke the bulbs in with the wires, as with out trimming the back down, i couldn't get the lights to sit in the bumper at all lol

nope, i think its welded on lol, managed to snap my halfords advanced breaker bar on it though.

that sounds about right to be honest, the air regulator opens under cold start conditions, the thermostat on the front of the engine also stays shut until the engine comes up to 76.5 degree's C (stock) the air regulator should then close off slightly to allow the Idle air control unit to take over the idle. the thermostat on the front of the engine will open to allow coolant through to the rad. at this point the car is regulating its own temp. You could have a sticking or dirty Air regulator, im sure mine comes off high idle once its up to around 40 / 50 degree's but depending on ambient out side temp, could take a while
