Got myself a plenum to polish , got the throttle body,s off and as expected it,s full of oily gunge , any one used any product that would shift it , if not gonna cap the openings and swill it out with petrol !!! :D

Had my first blast around Donnington at Japfest , crapped my pants at first but really got into it , had a brilliant time even though it was only about 5 laps and yes , standard brakes are useless ,lost it coming into the chicane with major brake fade , but recovered quite well, well i thought so anyway :rofl: Bantambunny,s gonna try and put the in car footage up for all to luagh at :D

I tried for 5 years running to get in , kept failing the written tests ( thick panelbeater :D ) as already mentioned , tot up on your maths and english :headvswal , they kept saying they weren,t looking for accademics but the written tests were fooking hard , especially with a time limit to contend with , i hadn,t done stuff like that since school ! and even then i was crap at it :D Wish you the best bud , it,s something i,d still like to do :hyper:

There,s been talk for a while about these , thing is they want US to pay for them , they reckon something like £60 - £80 :shock: :shock: If they pay for it i,ll carry it , if they don,t then fook em . Take the headlights out and give the inside a good clean , you won,t believe how much crap builds up on the inside of the lenses making your headlights even duller than they supposed to be :headvswal :cry:

It could have alot of sludge build up blocking it or on the side of the matrix is a valve which alters the amount of water flowing through it , the cable might have come loose , IIRC the outer shield of this cable is secured to a bracket with a clip , if this has come off the valve could be permanantly shut , not allowing any hot water through it :confused: You can see the valve on the matrix here : Or what ever controls the movement of the cable from the climate control could be iffy :headvswal HTH

My n/s was smoking on tickover , did the pcv,s a while back , just de-catted and it,s now smoking from both sides , certainly feel the power difference but the smoke is embarassing in traffic :headvswal Engine,s coming out in a few weeks to replace the tubs , turbo guy said as long as the tubs have been used de-catted from the start you shouldn,t have any problems :dance:

Zeds love it , now i know all engines love cold dense air but i had to go out to pick the missus up around 11.30 last night and it was bloody freezing but by god did the old girl go well ( the car that is :D ) just wish the performance was like that all year round :cry: :cry:
