  1. Have you weighed the auto box , by fook they,re heavy !!! I know that Darren,s chevy swap ended up a fair bit lighter than the zed set up
  2. Welcome to the forum bud , your english is a damn sight better than any of our japanese   The more over seas members the better , it,s nice to know what,s happening in the car clubs around the globe
  3. These are the new turbo water feeds for a plenum bypass , all come off the water pipes at the rear of the engine that feed the matrix . These are the feeds that normally go under the plenum through the throttle bodies and snake their way down to the tubs :nono: The metal pipe on the right side above the turbo is the only original pipe you leave on but this has a small section of rubber tubing connecting it to the turbo , this will need replacing just to be on the safe side . It all can be done with the engine in place , on the N/S you,ll have to take the battery out and remove the hard pipe coming off the turbo to gain access. On the O/S just need to remove the hard pipe off the turbo and be prepared to cut your hands :smash: It,s done with 6mm silicon pipe from Smithy,s HTH
  4. I had the in line one fitted for a while but caused problems as the top rubber water pipe has different diameters at each end, when you cut a section out to fit the inline adapter it,s a snug fit one end but a very loose fit the other meaning you have to try and squeeze the gap shut using a jubilee , but you end up doing them so tight they can cut into the rubber pipe and cause a failure :nono: Lucky for me i was only round the corner from the Z Centre when it failed
  5. As Bart Simpson says : ..... Your damned if you do and your damned if you don,t ... How fooking true is that :smash: :smash:
  6. Apparently she,s been overheard saying the same
  7. I quit this morning , on the patches now , not feeling too bad so far but god help anyone who cuts me up in the next few weeks :nono: :nono:
  8. Nick at least if your car broke down she,d either fix it or push it to your destination :x: :x:
  9. Dave , that,s the same camera that Daz ( mantav8 ) has just fitted to his tranny van , it,s got great picture quality
  10. I bought 2 red tail lamps ( these have the correct twin filliament bulb fitting ) and 6 reverse lights but fitted 2 clear lenses instead of the red ones and used coloured bulbs , brake lights were bright but the the side lights were too dim ( being only 5 watt ) so i fitted a ring of red LED,s inside the light to act as tail light . The panel and lights were from the ZCentre  You can see the LED,S here : N/S inner light is a reverse light and O/S is fog again using a red tail lamp bulb but lighting the brake filliament so it,s nice and bright and obviously outer ones are indicators using amber bulbs  HTH
  11. The original pipes they were on were replaced with some of Smithy,s stainless pipes , a mates an engineer and machined some flanges , cut holes in the stainless pipes and welded in the mounting flanges  BLING Here,s a piccy of the original pipes As far as i know dump valves can be mounted on either of the pipes ( one to throttle body or one from the turbo to the intercooler) I,m sure someone will correct me if i,m wrong  HTH
  12.
