  6. The screens are bonded in bud , the seals you can see are just trims to make it look neat . The one across the top of the screen is the same stuff that windscreen guys have on a roll and cut to length . HTH
  7. I cheated and had a boss welded on , wanted to keep the stock one working as well :hyper:

  12. Same symptons as i had even after changing my PCV,s , under boost you don,t get any smoke because the oil seals are also under pressure making them seal properly . On tickover and after de-catting theres no back pressure in the tubs to ' help' make the already worn oil seals work properly , hence smoke :rant: What threw me was i kept checking my intake pipes( Smithy,s Stainless ones ) thinking they would be coated with oil on the inside given that the tubs were blowing oil into the engine , hence smoke .But they were always clean. The thing is it didn,t smoke all the time either :confused: It wasn,t until i pulled the engine to do the tubs i found out why, on mine it was the the seals on the exhaust side of the turbos that were leaking straight into a red hot down pipe , hence smoke and not by being burnt going through the engine :headvswal HTH

Just don,t go too mad Peach keep away from the edges of panels cos you can polish right through the paint if you over do it :headvswal A few years ago we had a valeter at work who owned a 2.8 Capri , he was obsessed with the thing , cleaned and polished it that much the paint went trasparent :headvswal ended up having a respray !! :x:

  21. I had the same , covered in oil , thought it was rocker cover gasket leaking it turned out to be the the large pipe on the bottom of the power steering pot was loose :hyper: :hyper: Just nipped the clip up and jobs a goodun :bow:
