I,m taking the zed off the road to do a major overhaul , found a low mileage engine , got a manual conversion also off a different low mileage car , a pair of manual tubs which i,m rebuilding with 360degree bearings and staggered gap rear seals , a boost controller , front mount intercooler . I want to remove the hicas and smooth the seams in the engine bay before repainting ( might change the colour yet ! ) and removing as much stuff off the inner wings to keep it looking uncluttered . Might change the front bumper yet for a WW one then sort the bodywork which does need rear arches fitting , if i get all that done i,d like to sort the interior out !! Should keep me busy for a few years ! lol Oh yeah the new car.... I was in need of a load lugger and won this on fleabay , 204000 miles and runs and drives as sweet as a nut , pity it,s not a T5 :blushing::blushing: So if anyone needs an engine which actually runs pretty much perfectly it,s just on the low side on the compression readings , but i,m getting smoke occasionaly on tickover from the O/S ( tubby seals ) or an auto box , they,re both still in the car so can be tested , let me know .

TSW Pace i borrowed while mine were being re-furbed , loved the looks with these on !!

The black box of tricks under the o/s rear light are these prone to failing , mines been blowing the light fuse in the footwell , tracked it down to this box which was smoking when i put a fuse in , before blowing !!! Would there be a reason it could have gone or is it just one of those things that happen , after all it is 20 years old . BTW anyone got one please , ive got no lights :crying::crying: I,ll also put a wanted ad up . cheers .

Here,s my little collection , the red one in the case is a limited edition ( only 2000 made ) comes with numbered authentication certificate , i got into a bidding war on ebay a few years ago for it and paid £80 , one sold only last week for .......... answer at the bottom ! Thanks for the advice Jeff but the loom needs replacing anyway , got one off a member and it,s only 6 months old so no brittle bits:clap::clap: I,m gonna be fitting manual tubs and a boost controller while i,m at it , will i need a manual ecu ? Cheers

I ,ve got a complete manual conversion to fit one day soon , included was this section of loom but where does it go ? i,m also fitting a replacement manual engine loom as well rather than modding the auto loom so this section of loom will be used, any pics would really help !! TA !
