OMFG I had a tenant have a domestic two months back, Police smashed the door in. I had to pay £650 to put a new door in as they were both on the dole (both worked when they initially rented the place). Then she threw him out and then decided to move back in with her parents as she was worried about him coming back to the house. This was in the first week of March, the dole said they will not pay rent as no one was living there. They the tell her I have to evict her before they will re consider housing her. Can you believe that? She told me that she needed somewhere to keep her furniture so although she was not living there I would have to put up with it issue notice then pay to evict her before I could have the house back. All this time no rent and associated legal costs now. WTF has the country reached a point now where no one has any self respect! I am £700pm of unpaid furniture storage cos someone at dole office thinks its my fault for expecting rent. She just text me to say she is hoping for a new place in the next few months, so was enquiring how much longer it will legally take to evict her as she was worried about putting her stuff somewhere. OMFG talk about Jeremy Kyle generation.

Cheers I told them I dont want it doing Tuesday, he is not very happy but knowing that you might have been taken for a load of extra cash is a bad feeling... I hate being taken advantage of like this and having my doubts i cant just hand over £2800 without more quotes.

They are dumping the dirt around 15 yards away in my woodland as I have a bit of land that needs filling up so no need to skip anything. it does seem expensive to me, im sure they will go ape when I call them to cancel everything Tuesday but im not being ripped off... im sick of people coming out here to try and take advantage so i am going to get a few more quotes.

I have a log cabin being built out the back, it is 8.5M X 4M with a gym and hot tub going out there. I just got a quote to do the foundations it will require digger hire for one day and because it will hold a hot tub they suggested using a 9 inch reinforced slab with a damp proof sheet with an expansion joint in it. The ground is fairly level they dont need to skip anything and the cement mixer can get about 10-12 metres away. 2 guys for 2 days and they want £2800, now im sure every time some fecker comes out here and looks at my house the prices double. It does really piss me off that everytime I get a quote I think they assume its time to kill the fatted calf. They are meant to be starting Tuesday but I want to check I am not being taken for a mug here. if you think the price is about right then fine no problem, I just think it is expensive for what it is after thinking about it. I should just add when I said frack me that is a lot of money he said it was the cost of cement as with nothing else that was around £16-1800 Please help!

The pics came out really well, it was a nice day to shoot the car. It has mike smith manifolds and Aluminium test pipes, bit tricky fitting the exhaust but went fine with the tubs bud.

You also need to notify the Police in case he disputes receiving the details. It happened to me once and the Police turned up at my door a week later stating that I had failed to stop at the scene of an accident and faliure to report an accident. The *******s took me to court over it and I got points and a fine. Thing is i did stop and left details but the **** never said he got them. Fact is you need to tell your insurance company even if you left details. if you dont it falls into the above. Does not matter where he was parked un fortunately, you caused the damage so it is a fault accident.

I dont want mine any lower she rubs already over bumps.... and with the body kit already struggle getting over speed bumps lol ride is about right I have coil overs so can easily adjust if I needed to though.

I like 5 spoke wheels, I like Zees on here or a nice set of JDM works but after consideration I liked 6-7 spokes more as IMO looks a bit more racey!!! I so nearly bought 5s but pleased I went for 7s in the end.

My car had its photo shoot today for Banzai next month, it was a great day weather wise and ended up having the photos taken at the top of Portsdown hill for those who know the area. From what I had seen of them on the camera they came out really nice. :biggrin: Great bunch of guys and the Editor is a real nice guy!.. he was saying they would like to feature more of these cars but most had been over done or were tatty, he said mine looked stylish and tasteful in concours condition so it was nice to see, and I thought it was a nice compliment :biggrin:. I plugged everyone I could that I bought bits from or who helped on the car. Fingers crossed that they all end up getting a shout in the mag. Anyhows just thought I would let you know about next months issue if you are interested.

In two days you could have had this job done pulling the engine and putting it back in.

Ebay or pistonheads is the best bet IMO autotrader normally attracts all the over priced un sold cars as they canvass all the local papers etc.

I think they all need to be done on the same rolling rd, at the hubs is best as you struggle to keep the wheels down if you have lots of power and just end up ruining tyres. Or at least the same kind of dyno if there is one that is in a lot of locations in the UK. Alternatively maybe do it on Torque as that is the actual power that forces you down the rd not BHP. That way im guessing it is a better "power" indicator?. Thing is all of these cars handle like a sack of shit when you start hitting the bigger numbers, mine just on the base map with low boost is virtually un driveable. God only knows what kind of savage suicide machine it will be when it is finnished. Im having serious doubts about putting the NOS in and running it on race Juice. Half throttle now and she is sideways even at like 60-70 mph. Thing is as well you get no warning with her as she revs so fast and there is no lag from the tubs even on low boost so it kind of just rips away from you. On a Dyno i would be happy to give it an 80HP squirt of NOS, chuck some race juice in it and put the boost a lot higher but would probably only want to do that on a hub dyno. I dont see the point of shredding a decent set of tyres everytime you want a dyno figure. I had a brand new set of tyres on mine and the rollers have half worn them out in one session.

They had a joint tennancy that expired a few months ago so its technically "squatters rights I believe" so my understanding is I can serve a two month notice to quit, then have to take it to court to get the house back. It so sucks this whole mess is very stressful as you literally have to pay for the right to watch someone destroy your property and cost you money while you run up legal costs to try and get it back. Then after all that I have to pay to fix the place up again and it was immaculate... oh she did not have the money for a new front door so I have to pay £600 for that as well on Monday to add insult to injury.
