  1. How damn exciting cant wait for mine to be finnished off!
  2. Well we had a bit of sleet and the odd few flakes but nothing has settled yet. So still no snow, maybe tonight the heavens will open up?. You either want some or none but sleet sucks.
  3. We had quite a lot of snow here last year, well enough to abandon cars and staff to swear blind they would surely die if they had to come to work. My pad in the snow
  4. The first few flakes 50% of my malingering staff will take a snow day even if they can get in LOL.
  5. Nothing here dayn sayth just blinkin cold :sneaky2:
  6. Dude it could freeze to death, have you tried putting a litter tray down for it. He is clearly not that keen to go out in the cold bud!
  7. Bazz all the Romans look warn bud before you clean them, most show no details at all but clean up ok. Soak your coin in Olive oil with a little lemon Juice and every few days check it. You will be surprised how they come up, 99% of the roman stuff looks like uncleanable slugs but 2000 of crap will come off showing a coin inside. The hoards I am going to clean a few bits up, keep a bit and stick the rest on ebay as uncleaned lots. Will post some pics when they arrive! A codd bottle is an old lemonade bottle, basically in the days of bottles and corks before they had screw caps the pressure used to push a marble inside the bottle against the lip to hold the contents in. I go metal detecting most weeks with one of my mates from school,

  13. That is what I figured, I am going to tear them to bits on a regular basis so not worth throwing the cash away.

  15. Dude im a collector, I used to go all the time when I could find somewhere to go. Have a bit of a dig and take some piccies and I will tell you what age it is. Normally the older stuff is lower down. Look for thick deep green glass as well as blue glass and bits of clay pipe and marbles in the tops of old codd bottles. Could have found a decent spot and if its good it would be worth digging and selling the stuff. Anything after Victorian aint really worth digging though as it is not worth anything, Clear glass is crap basically. I love History I have just bought two complete roman Hoards of coins from Israel. One is 14Kgs and the other one is 8Kgs probably around 11-12000 roman coins in total. Should be here in the next three weeks just waiting for export approval out there. I will need to start cleaning them by soaking them in Olive for for a few months.
  16. Its good fun, just dont do modern warfare or medal of honor on xbox live the kids will kill you every 5 seconds!!
  17. Nothing down here yet but it is cold, have the open fire on so its nice and warm.Today my schedule has been. Just go on the net for a bit, xbox live for a bit, then throw a bit more coal on the fire. I bet my left nut that as soon as we have even a small amount of snow my staff stop coming in especially the ones that take time off for even the slightest thing.
  18. Garage today told me to go for Falkens he said dont worry about never having heard of them they are excellent. He said great wet and dry grip as well as good value and good speed rating. I will probably give them a try as they are about £450 a set insted of £329 per tyre for some of the others. If they dont work out I can just replace them with something else.
  19. Well done congratulations!
  20. Yes I cant wait to see them on the car should look proper sorted
  21. Well after three months of waiting they finally turned up this morning. Lovely quality wheels :thumbup1: They cost a small fortune but im really happy with them and they look MINT!!
  22. Yes I was gonna do that for the fitting but you get great prices on tyres on mytyres.co.uk
  23. My wheels arrive tmoz, im just trying to find out what tyres I need tor them They are 19s Front are 8.5 + 20 offset Rears are 9.5 + 35 offset Thanks but I have no idea on this stuff, not after a stretch or anything just a nice low profile with decent grip.
