Yes im looking forward to it, Jimmer has had the heads pressure tested and skimmed, replaced the cometic gaskets and done a load of other bits. John Dixon removed and fitted the Emerald management system yesterday. Also had a catch tank fitted etc. Fingers crossed it should be a runner very soon then jst an MOT to sort out. One annoying thing though is the brand new OEM Gearbox, it leaks if you can believe that! so Jimmer is gonna sort that as well. I cant send it back to the US so a repair is the way forward guess it is just a faulty gearbox gasket.

My Recaros were too high to use the old runners as they are to high and the steering wheel does not adjust. Make sure you can get in the car before you do this.

Stick a head gasket sniffer on it to be sure, mine should have been fine but it picked it up straight away even if none of the normal signs are evident. Jimmer has just done mine so it should be on the road real soon.

I bought universal ones then made brackets out of steel to bolt them to the original holes and studs. It took me a day each side to do as the steel was so tough using an airsaw and a blow torch and some decent drill bits and vice. Mine are Recaros but they dont make frames for the 300zx.

I think it will do them good to have a job, its not even the minimum wage but by the time you add on housing benefit this benefit and that benefit they are probably on £30 per hour for picking up litter LOL. There are a lot of Jobs down here and 4 out of 5 of my best friends are on the dole as a career. They get all shitty when I tell them to get a Job and I get told that they will eventually etc when they are ready but they have a good life as they are. IMO 6 months dole then no more will get all the free loaders back to work. Its not fair on any level why tax payers give away at least 30% of everything they earn, so the bums can laugh at them getting up and going out to work while they get up at 1pm to have the first splif of the day. I dont mind if they have a real job or work for the dole just as long as they get up and contribute to society. If they want to work but cant get a job they will have the opportunity to do it for the dole so really I cant see anything to moan about.

I think from memory the rear quarters are almost impossible to buy and are very very hard to fit on these. When I had my car bare metal resprayed I looked into it and ended up going for new arches instead. Its probably an insurance write off, but TBH im sure you could get most of it out with a spot weld dent puller. A lot of the damage is around the light so you will have good access to the worst of the dent when it is removed. Anyhows I have a spot weld dent puller if you want to borrow it along with the slide hammer etc.

Go to a shoe shop and get a brush on leather dye, it will completely cover up all of the marks. then use a saddle wax or similar on it. Will come up real nice I did my friends MR2 steering wheel and leather seats like this and they came up new.

Stellaz Im with you on that as well, a few of my friends point blank say they will not work as they get everything paid for by the state. Unemployment, housing, council tax, and enough cash to run a car and buy dope with. Im all for having something for those that need it..., but the lazy scroungers like my friends who bragg about it should be forced to work to keep their benefits if they cant be arsed to work. Bitch about what really annoys you in this thread, stuff that makes you just see red. I have been trying to see my Doctor for insomnia now for about a week. Thing is they dont allocate non emergency appointments without you calling between 8-10am each day for the next two days. Every time I call they tell me there are none left and to call back again the next day. No shit I have done this now for about a week if you call at 8am its engaged and when you get through they are all gone. It really sucks :blink:. What kind of crap system is that. I had a moan after about a week and got told to call back to complain lol. :cursing:
