  1. Have a big church car park just out the front will take loads of cars
  2. Yes my wife has a few reservations but im sure she will be fine. The "Wild Chickens" that we have might be useful for eggs or spit roast at the camp over :whistling: I know free range is in at the moment but next door lets them roam freely in my garden as we dont really get on. They do a lot of damage!!!
  3. Yes its a very pretty place but the upkeep is expensive and time consuming. We plan to move if we can in the next 2-3 years to something a little more normal. I have to say though I love living here, its very peaceful and the garden is great for parties or BBQs. As for the house every fecker bangs their heads.
  4. Our garden costs a fair bit to keep as neither of us are gardeners, but I have to say on a day like today it was lovely out there. I spent the whole day outside with a pot of G3 removing underseal from the Porker that we sprayed by accident when we did the Zed.
  5. I bet you thought I meant a car  no look at my lawn. Its a standing joke in my office that you can see my stripes on Google earth. I am really into my lawn, we have Diamonds at the moment it... :cool2: Unfortunately Its not me that does it, but im proud of it never the less.
  6. When you are as cool as me you dont need it
  7. Mines gone, best delete you can do IMO we only have three days of summer and if its hot take the targa roof off. It weighs a ton, the pipes mess up your engine bay no end looks wise, you get better cooling without it, you can use the hole in the bulkhead to run your cables through!!!. I never thought I would delete mine but as soon as everything is in bits you can see all the pros
  8. Yes loads of parking just outside in the Church Car park well enough for about 50! and I live in a great area so they will all be safe and sound there.
  9. Massive car park in the Church yard 50 feet away!
  10. I was thinking of having a bit of a club camp out at my place in the summer. I live in between Winchester, Southampton, and Portsmouth. I have a big garden for everyone to camp in (well enough for a fair few) and some woods with a big open space for a camp fire and Hog roast kind of thing. We could all talk Zeds get pissed and make a good night of it all, I could get the Mrs to do a party style buffet and maybe have a bit of a rave up. Thoughts?
  11. yes its a terrible hobby as there are lots of crooks, but I have some great a very historically important stuff. I have a photo album of personal pitures of Hitler, Goering, Hess etc. Also I have one of Churchills Cigars and a baseball signed by all of the vets from the 101st Airborne Division (band of brothers). I have a reasonable collection, this is a very rare German dress dagger on route from the US that I bought from a Vets son whos dad was on the second wave of troops at Normandy.
  12. Its ww2 militeria as I collect historical items

  14. Episode 3 and 4 have both been non starters IMO, dont get me wrong im watching all of them but I dont think it lives up to band of brothers at the moment. Band of Brothers was great because it had a real true story behind it, outstanding settings and was kinda on the doorstep. The characters were stronger and the action was really well done and most of it was during the day. It really showed the triumphs and horror of war. The Pacific is all action in the dark, only three main characters and two of the first four episodes are really lacking. Everything looks the same as it is set in the Jungle and I just felt disappointed after watching the last few episodes. Im hoping it will get rapidly better now!!!
  15. Still a fair bit of connecting up to do but this will give you an idea of where its at. The rear engine skin and throttle body cover etc are just placed on there at the moment. Also the WP pulley is round the wrong way.
  16. 4 is also very slow....
  17. yeah 3 is not great but I have 4 downloaded to watch tonight!
  18. Today with just a little bit of help :helpsmilie: we all managed to get a whole load of stuff done to the zed. We have really broke the back of this thing now, so with a bit of luck and someone to sort out the AEM EMS it should be startable in the next few weeks maybe :scared:. I cant say thanks enough to everyone today, its a difficult project as almost everything is an upgrade or a relocation. Its a big build and nothing is ever simple. Jimmer managed to put the twin plate barstool clutch in swiftly followed by the brand spanking new gearbox on the engine. We then managed to get the engine and box in the car in one piece!!. Si kept nipping off in the Porker for Vasaline?????? for hours on end, and managed to put a load of my new interior in. JMWUK made the new speakers fit the doors... I managed to put the prop shaft on as well as do a load of stuff under the car and James did a whole load of the electrical stuff :crying:. As a team effort we made some real progress, unfortunately my phone is playing up so the pictures did not come out very well. I will take some pics tmoz with a decent camera and post them up. It looks really nice in chrome black and white.. the end is now in sight yipeeeeeee. Thanks again guys
