  1. Yes I will have a chat with the garage about the Exhaust TBH I was thinking the same thing, the back boxes are just hanging there at the moment as the centre section is still not fitted. I think I have a real small front plate that came with the car as well I might be able to do something with. Just wanna drive it now
  2. Thanks guys TBH most of the cash went on the mechanicals, could of had something that looked the same for a lot lot less. Cant wait to see what she goes like as it should be capable of warp factor 5 after it is run in. I am really pleased with the bright white pearl that Si recommended as it makes everything look so clean and crisp. Some lovely cars on here that were very inspirational! Gary the number plate was where is was originally, what you thinking?
  3. Sure mate they will be up for grabs in about a month six weeks when the others get here.
  4. If I ever get rid of this car (and I have no plans to) I would have to break it. At the moment it stands me in £53.114. No shit  I just added all the invoices up and its not on the road yet. Its probably worth no more than 10K but I did it for myself and not to sell it. And im just selling my 911 turbo for 32K http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1735828.htm I must have my priorities so so wrong lol
  5. Well its all together now apart from a few little bits. It does run and next week its going to the tuning shop to be mapped properly and have all the suspension, tracking, and a few other bits done so fingers crossed she should be on the road real soon . I have some new wheels on order from Japan so did not bother cleaning the old ones for the pictures . I fabricated the glove box pod myself rather pleased with it. Anyhows enjoy Clicky link for tons of pics http://www.project300tt.com/all-together-now/

  7. Can anyone do it, cant get it to run on my pc but my friend videod the car running on his i phone?
  8. Bonnet stay, I worked it out just needed a good bending to sit on the new rad and avoid the rad cap. John I have a gas set but they dont seem to sit low enough to attach, i will take a look at them again when I have all the other bits done.
  9. What on the scuttle?
  10. Guys I bought a plating set to do bits on the car and restore a few antiques that I had. Had some great results with it and the finnish has been excellent. Can do all sorts of bits with it. Well worth the money Also bought a spot weld dent puller that I can honestly say will probably never get used again :turned:
  11. Guys Has anyone got a picture showing how and where the stay goes on the scuttle panel?. Shocking eh after all the work I have done on the car to be asking this.. but I just cant be sure how and where it goes.
  12. How about an Aston Martin?
  13. I have a hot nissan otherwise I would
  14. Im warming up on the lambos but would only buy a manual one all that egear F1 stuff sucks.
  15. Second best day in your whole life is when you buy a Ferrari Best day in your life is when you sell the damn thing lol, like having a trophy wife looks great but is a bitch to live with that raids all your savings until you get rid of her!
  16. I love the look of the Lambos yet to drive one though. I know what you mean but the Porsches are so bloody reliable and blisteringly fast.
  17. Well if you need a hand John let me know bud have you got a new gearbox yet?
  18. yes mailed the garage its booked in with today, feckers have not even replied yet???
  19. yes dunno, I like the R8 but its an Audi at the end of the day thats why im asking.
  20. Guys bless ya, funny thing is Jimmer Rang me last night as well so I thought I would force myself to think zed tonight. To be honest I am just a bit fed up with the Zed situation at the moment. I have the car 99% complete engine in the car, everything put on, interior in, just need to get it to a garage to set up the ecu and do the last few bits to get it running properly. Put the centre zorst on, set up the suspension, tracking, and do stuff like that. Thing is I kind of feel I have hit a dead end now and I cant do shit because of my Neighbour complaining about the noise. Honestly just lost the will to do anything to the car at the moment. Funny thing is I was spending every waken hour out there until a few weeks ago. Cant explain it????????
  21. I guess when the zed is going I can share some of the driving with that!
  22. My Mrs is forcing me to change my car as its done a few miles now and she thinks I need a change. Im in love with my 996 turbo and she is a high spec and totally reliable car so I need a new DAILY driver. What would you go for, take into account reliability, poseability, etc. Not sure on colours yet. I used to own a Ferrari and it was a bucket of puss so I am a bit worried about trying Italian again. http://pistonheads.com/sales/1726572.htm http://pistonheads.com/sales/1723860.htm http://pistonheads.com/sales/1591830.htm
  23. My Budget 1. All civil service pensions to be the same as most of the private sector (Money Purchase) we cant afford to pay all these final salary scheme deficits any more. Locally 17% yes 17% of my council tax was to prop their pension funds up. 2. Remove all middle management types from the civil service, a friend of mine who is a nurse says she has so many managers the dont know whats going on!. 3. Caravan tax, they clog the roads up and do it for free, you should see the new forest at the weekends. 4. Get our troops home, stop the killing and save some cash in a war that cant be won. 5. Dont scrap the nuclear deterrant (as we have not been at war since we have had it) but just have enough to wipe the world out once not five times saving a stack of cash. 6. Dont allow speed camaras to give you points with the fine, its a licence killer. Have the option to pay a bit more and not get the points. 7. If you are on benefits 6 months max before you go on a civil work programme, even if it is just breaking rocks up or licking stamps. Genuine people will soon find a job if they are looking. The false claimers who cant be assed to work will just sit at home with no dole. 8. Scrap ID cards, and remove imos, on the TV they arrest them and then loose them all the time as they trust them to report to the Police station, just throw the feckers out. 9. Recuce the number of MPs by 25% we dont need them all and they are all crocked saving a few quid. 10. A tax break for those who want to have private health cover at work, at the moment you get taxed on it and you are taking stress off the NHS.
  24. Did you change the gaskets? or just tighten them up?
