Today i changed the water pump, put a thermostat back in and no change at all 215 :no: . Apart from a new rad im out of ideas unless it has a big air lock in there somewhere?.

Mine does this big time no wonder on 3-5 mpg

No that is plod about driving did not put my foot down at all, I think that maybe it needs mapping by someone else?. I am going to change the water pump and have another rad on the way so will see if either of those things help or not.

My car kind of runs now so it would be great to finally go to something.

Today I went to the chemist and asked for cream that would ease the pain on three of my Nipples. I stood there and explained that they were itchy and imflamed and that it no longer wanted to be like a cow!. The woman looked at me and said "what you have five nipples??" and then handed me some E45 cream. It was at this point I said well, no actually two real ones and three massive insect bites showing her!. She could not stop laughing and said that was the funniest description for insect bites that she had ever heard. Went sun bathing today and the feckers ate me alive, every time I get bitten it swells right up in total the little shitz get me eleven times. Some flying scum had a good meal on me today. Anything else good for stoping the itching and getting rid of the swelling?

Better MPG running a sherman tank TBH hope it gets better as it runs in. Ideally I would like 10-15 mpg. It could be in KMS could be even less at the moment.

Do you think the plastic funnel will bring it down the rest of the way?

I dont have a thermostat in it at the moment, without the viscose it got very very hot!. Yeah maybe it is still running a bit hot, I dont have the shaped bit of plastic from the rad to funnel the air from the viscose fan, do you think that does much?. I can drive it with the viscose though, on the other one it got very hot very quick. I might change te water pump as well just to be on the safe side in case the impeller is slipping when it gets hot?.

I just threw the electric fan away and went back to Viscose for better cooling. It stays around 215 degrees on the digital and in between half and three quarters on the dash one, (more towards half than three quarters). Is that about a normal running temperature or is that still on the high side? I took the thermostat out while I was waiting on a new one, I know is a new engine so will be tight and making a lot of friction and heat until it has worn in a bit. On that note it has done around 30 miles on £22 of petrol... but it is now running and driving so nearly a working car now.

I gave up six years ago and started smoking again last August, I was soon back on 30 a day and quit again 18 Days ago. I cant quit using Nicotine replacement, I find that it just wants to make me smoke as my body craves Nicotine however it gets it. Every day write the number of days that you have quit on the back of your hand with a Biro. It serves as a constant reminder mentally of how you are doing, and if its on the hand that you would normally smoke with it might stop you lighting up on a whim as you look at it and feel guilty. If I have a bad craving I drink a small glass of real Lemon Juice believe me its sharp taste will totally remove the mental craving for a good while. Do excersise it always really helps to quit, if you do more than while you were smoking it somehow mentally gets behind the quitting process. Brush your teeth more often, this really helps as I always find my teeth feel so much cleaner when I quit smoking. Its like they look and feel so much better so I brush them like 4-5 times a day for a while. Chewing gum can also help, thing is if you say "I will just have the one" or " just while in drinking etc" the whole thing goes to shite. Really just resist the urge of even one and in no time you will be free of it. Day 4 is always the worst for me if you get by that it becomes easier and easier, after a few weeks the cravings are minimal.

cool the old one expired about 6 months back as the car has been on a SORN but im sure the 5 day thing is the same.

Collecting the zed from the garage tommorow, I have taxed it online but will not have a tax disk for a few days. Just my luck I will get pulled by the plod so is it fineable?. I mean technically it is Taxed?

Collecting Zed from the garage tommorow but it still has eratic temperature issues, any ideas what might cause this? I am going to change the water pump (that and the Alternator are original to the old zed engine). It has a Nizmo low temp thermostat in and has a 56mm Rad. And a zirgo 3000 cfm fan. Apparantly they said it will run at a normal temp then jump right up and come down again? They did say that they have had a hard time bleeding the water system as well so im hoping it could be as simple as an air lock? Any help would be appreciated, how can I trace the problem?

Yeah nothing sticks like windscreen bond, sticks anything to anything and is top stuff. Just make sure you wear gloves as its a right bugger to get off.

Well most my my stuff came from the US and Zedcentere but I did buy a few bits off ebay. I bought a high flow rad that leaks from new.. what a load of trash. The core has a pin hole leak in it that is in a position that cant be welded. Also the braided hose on there is TRASH some of my fuel hose melted away! what a complete load of *****cks!. Just thought I should mention it, I have had the fuel hoses replaced but now need a new decent rad :wacko:
