  1. Interesting thread this...
  2. Guys When I bought the zed the indicators never cancelled when you turned a corner. This was solved when I bought a new wheel with the proper fixing kit. Anyhows I had to remove the thick (already broken) double electrical plate thing that went on there with the stock wheel. With it on the new wheel would not go on the spline properly and the indicators would not cancel again. Thing is I have wiring for a central horn and two thumb mounted NOS buttons to wire in. The problem is how on earth can you rotate the wheel 360 degrees one and a half times each way and wire them in without the nissan thingy??? I cant use the Nissan one even if it would fit and cancel the indicators, this is because even with the aircon It only has three possible wires and we need four. Any ideas what we can do with this or any workarounds you can think of?.
  3. yeah getting there.. just taking ages....
  4. How is the zed John? have you got the gearbox issues sorted out?
  5. I wish I would have known that before arrrrrrrrrh
  6. Si afraid not I dont work Thursdays or Fridays and am out with the Mrs Tmoz sorry! At least its the weekend now lol. What do you do yewcheck?
  7. My completely boring day has got me thinking about what what everyones day looks like. I mean be really honest how much WORK do you actually do?????? Mine 930 check my e-mail 950 e-mails replied to 10.00 Go up stairs for free bacon sandwiches and coffee in the building we are in. Get forced to listen to some companies wittering on until we run out at 1055 saying we have a conference call. 11-1230 On here, BBC news, read a bit. 1230-1400 On here again, answer two e-mails stand outside having a ten minute meeting. 1400-1415 ask all my staff how they are getting on make a few management suggestions then back to my desk. 1415-1600 go between here, and bbc news and now ebay to see if there are any little bits I need. 1600-1615 wonder around the office chatting answer a few e-mails 1615-now on here. You know when I take all the crap out my day I actually only work about an hour a day. No wonder im so bored all the time  If I didnt own the place I would have to leave lol.
  8. LOL they are???? but you could be looking at the pics before they were changed.
  9. Vic sorry for the funny first post, im sat in the office bored stiff. Just thought it would be a funny thing to post to liven the daytime 300zx morgue up. Red or Black for me, dont go for white or black wheels with a white car as it looks pants. Silver or polished alloy are the best options.
  10. That is a cool site except it crashed my PC in the end
  11. Hmmm this is a tough one, I have a Tailor in London but he is not that great on car interiors unless you want black or grey and usually hangs a tie from the interior mirror. However in my opinion he is over priced and you would be better off going for something self fit, as it is far less expensive and far more up to date fashion wise. When these cars were built they used a really drab cloth tweed interior in most cases. Today fashions have changed and the modern techno animal print is the way to go. This kit would be perfect for your car and you can fit it in less than ten minutes. Also with the brakes and wheels brought up to date as well it will give your car a modern look to die for. http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/pink-zebra-print-5-piece-car-accessories-set
  12. Leopard print works well and is easy to do for the brake calipers. As far as the wheels go if you want them to stand out with the new s****y looking Leopard print brakes, I would reccomend either white or the day glow orange or yellow. Will be a real head turner! The more things that you put on the car that glow the better in my opinion. Would look cool IMO to have a glowing bonnet badge. A few on here would disagree but that with some strobing neons underneath would be awsome.
  13. They snap very easily!!!! simply pull hard on the end and they go POP.
  14. It depends what kit it is and how you fit it, on mine I cut the pipes rather than the bumper.
  15. It was a right *******o to fit as well with the engine and box out the car!
  16. This is what I have as well as the flywheel to match.. but it is expensive!!! plus shipping plus import duty. http://www.hopupracing.com/rpstwdicaclf.html Got mine for import parts pro but providing you are not going to be doing anything stupid with your car its probably over kill. Holy cows read the warning at the bottom of this page http://www.turboclutch.com/Pages/RPS%20BC2%20Nissan.htm WTF!!!!!!!
  17. Im fairly sure you should be able to get a clutch over here, but again its the price I guess. I bought a twin plate RPS carbon from Kyle but not tried it yet as my car is still not running.
  18. Yes I have spent around $50,000 with kyle over a few different orders. He is excellet and always helps with after sales by e-mail and phone. What are you looking to buy? best call or e-mail them both to see how quick they can get you the bits. Problem is remember nothing is flying and there is a backlog of mail/deliveries so you might want to see if you can get the items in the uk.
  19. great stuff keep em coming!
  20. Yeah they don't make those runners any more
  21. What an absolute biatch slap, fried frickin chicken, lumpy bumpy, sucky wucky, dog suck of a job. :sweatdrop: It has taken me two days... yes two days to fabricate and fit one seat :w00t:. You cant get frames for Recaros that fit the 300zx, so you have to buy universal Recaro frames and then use the supplied steel rods and hardened steel lengths to fit them. I could not in any way use the old 300 frames or runners as they lifted the seats up to high. For two days I have been in the garage like a medieval blacksmith heating steel tougher than diamonds!. Then slowly beating it into shapes or around bars to fit the original mounting points. The stuff is so tough even an air saw takes 20 minutes to make each cut. I have burnt out a brand new electric drill drilling holes in it, and two £15 drill bits glowed red before they gave up the ghost . It reminds me of one of those old films where the earthings are trying to break into a UFO using drills tha break and primative tools. I have been burnt, a red hot swarf splinter flew off and cut my hand. My knees are frickin killing me and im absolutely sick of the damn things. They are an absolute BIATCH to fit. I have now fitted one seat and its taken me some 15 hrs to do!! OMFG I cant say im very much looking forward to dooing the other one next week. I guess the only saving grace is my cuts and burns will not be so painful by then. I have to say though having a seat in it, it felt ace and at least I know they will never go anywhere as they are so strong.
  22. Battle of Britain is such a classic. Funny thing is if you ask most kids when the battle of britain was they would probably say 1066.
