  11. Bingo... a major cause as w3ell as the one Jeff has posted about a few times... so: make sure the drain hole and tube are free of blocks and working right. make sure they are not leaking inside the car (foot well). check the rubber at the top near the drain plug is sealing correctly to the car (see Jeff's guide). clean the rubbers, best with rubber restorer (helps to seal). make sure the window is sitting tight against the rubber (this requires removing the door card, bit of a crap job but not that hard, there are two nuts with bolts that will pull/push the window runners closer to the car. Front and rear of the door.. you will have to do them different ways, the front one has a pivot point above the adjuster and the back one has the pivot below it.. if that makes sense :) ) there are also adjustments on the door but unless it's not flush it unlikely to be that. and yes mine did leak quite a bit but have almost totally stopped since I adjusted the window. best of luck..

  15. yeah... good thinking.. was wondering about that.. mine used to be an auto (before I got it). So I guess need to know what to do, just ignore or do I need to bridge the circuit?
  16. Hey, wondering if anyone knows about the ignition locks.. I've got one with the titanium key that i want to replace mine with... however it is different. mine is like in the diagram with a set of wires coming from near the front of the barrel.. the one i have to replace it with doesn't have these wires it just has a blanking plug there. can I just change the barrels over.. and if so how? cheers.
  17. could also be ptu or cas with connector issues...
  18. made an attempt to do the heater matrix... WHAT A F£$%£$%ing DISASTER !!!!! I know there are some hard thing to do on these cars but forget that for a laugh... :( I took the dash out for reasons other than just the matrix and wish I hadn't, it was a mess.. cracks all over the place, took me best part of the afternoon pasti-welding and gluing it back together.... then getting the clutch pedal out and finding that the master cylinder had to also come out.... looking to see how easy it would be to do from above.. MMMmmmm.. so I just gave up and put it all back together... I'd rather freeze than do that again....
  19. nice to hear a good story for a change.... Oh and FYI (in case you didn't know) Zedworld is in Birmingham... you lucky thing!!! I wish they where around the corner from me..:)
