Directly to a 12v supply?

I'm curious to know what the original expected or proven stats are for a standard (factory) Zx TT? For instance (for manual and auto) 0~60Mph Mpg Top speed if unrestricted BHP etc etc Also the same expected specs for basic upgrades i.e. a zx TT with Induction kit, Performance exhaust, Chipped ecu and boost controller?

Hmm well maybe it doesn't light up lol maybe the leds are damaged, need to know really if they need an invertor or just run off 12v...:confused:

Do you mean it needs an invertor stu? I've tried a 9v battery on both ways but nothing...

I have two panels here, the one with the wires has slightly raised lettering and a hint of red compared to the other panel with no wires. If I photograph the panel, what am I needing to try and highlight? I can't see how the wires are for a fog as they disappear behind the paneling. Mikey - it's not anything to worry about but it would be good to see where the wires go to :)

I bought this light panel and noticed it has an extra connector - would this be for the '300zx' logo on the back? If so, I'm assuming it will be led's fitted...is there a connector to hook this up from the factory, or is it something I'll have to add?

Thanks Legrath, is it the same lead for either programs, or do I need to ensure that if mrogers wishes to part with his, that it's the correct one?

Which diagnostic program is it for? I'm just looking on blazt and can see the conzult is 5 times more expensive than datascan - is it that much better?

Please let me know if you want to sell the lead, are all the car interfaces the same? I'm after a lead to fit a 1991 TT. oo and a price :)

There's another little job for me then. I'm not keen on the foglight/sidelight set up.

Verify that there is a spark at one of the plugs (or all). If there is, check the fuses near the brake servo to ensure the fuel pump etc is powered. I know you said you can smell fuel but maybe it was just a small amount left in the fuel rail. You need to establish whether it's an electrical or fuel fault to gain more advice.

Just had my air con done too. No mods and R134a used - £55.00 done by a local trader.

Do new modified indicator units need to be bought or is there room for the sidelight inside the indicator housing?

Seems to be settling at a higher pressure - I added K-seal which is excellent stuff.

There were 3 pairs on ebay when I bought mine a week ago. Any speaker will do but you need to watch the depth because of the possibility of catching on the window glass. Without taking my door apart I couldn't be sure of the depth...

The reason it has lost ratings is because they have gone so bloody PC with it, as soon as there's a hint of norks or cloppa, the camera shy's away from it lol. Only in the UK it's being dropped AFAIK, say's a lot!! They should just add sh*tloads of alcohol if they just want ratings, we could have the 'bottle incident' all over again :shock: Making it nearly all gay this year really didn't help! Like has already been mentioned on this thread, it's a love or hate thing and if you don't like something there's loads of other channels to watch :D

Try doing a 'system restore' to when you know it worked ok. Is the let click a button or by tapping the mousepad? If it's a button, the switch under it may have failed or have a dry joint on the circuit board. If it's virtual (tapping of the pad) that doesn't now work, then there will be adjustments in the properties of the mouse in the control panel. The system restore will put it right if it's been disabled.
