bloody hell, thanks for that, saved me a nasty shock, i think ill track down some OEM ones, the knocking in the corner is most likely brushes though?

don't really know much or anything about a zeds suspension, all i know is a few days before my zed died last year it started knocking as it went round any left hand corner, noise can from the front left, id imagine its the brushes would these work? or could it be something else? and how easy are they to change? its that and the front of my exhaust (i have no downpipes at the mo lol) that's stopping it being road worthy i think, (and the lack of a working engine but that's another story.)

not the best looking thing in the world is it, i meant more as a car then what it looked like, was just thinking how long before someone converts a zed to electric lol

i've just been playing about on the net and i saw the nissan concept the "ESFlow", i've always hated the idea of losing my nice big V6, but reading up on it, and if it turns out to be close to the concept, id buy one, just wondering what anyone else take on it was? i'd always thought of them like milk floats slow and short range, or constantly charging like the Tesla, but if it can do 0-60 in 5 secs, and do 150miles to a charge, im impressed. and if its based on the leaf should have reasonable charge times too.

£500 sounds fair to me, especially if you can get the bill of sale, ideally id want it end of April, i know its a long way off, but would be happy to pay a deposit at the end of this month if your interested, sorry only started my new job today so trying to build the funds as fast as possible. i might be able to do it for the end of this month but its unlikely, if this is no good for you just say,

or if you really want a proper one, z1 in the states have them... i bought one, because i didn't want to bodge my zed, (or more to the point don't have a welder...:oops: ) although its an expensive way of doing the job of a 5p

congrats, as much as i want your Zed lol, if it were me id keep it now its running, fit the nice parts from your other and try to recuperate some of your money, although cant say i know anything about your other project Z out of interest what was magic did zedworld do?

i love the old corvettes the colour looks much better in person, was the only picture i could find quickly, but yeah agree with Z32bolt, looks really good with darker alloys. its got to be done now, wont be doing it till June-July time, but ill make sure i put some pictures up.

right im just toying with the idea at the moment, but i saw a photo of a 1969 corvette in a colour called riverside gold metallic and i think the zed would look great in it, id like anyone opinion on this, i was thinking with a carbon bonnet and spoiler along with some black rims would look great, im i the only one?

2 great colours for the Zed... but white does look the best on a Zed.. and black is much harder to spray correctly...

im 21 had a zed since 19, second Zed as last one was stolen, might soon be third Zed if i cant fix it lol.

exactly, i meen my Zeds insurance is only just less then i paid for the Zed, and i know if i drive it like an idiot and crash it the insurance will go too high for me to afford, let alone the fact the Zed would get damaged... although one thing i do disagree with about insurance companies is that your blamed if you cars stolen, my old Zed was stolen back in january (never recoverd or even seen again..:crying:) and the insurance company put my premiums up so much... i don't think that's fair either, particularly as i made every effort to prevent it, ie cat 1 alarm, parked outside my house, everyone knew it was mine... and it was on 3 wheels.... sorry slightly off topic but still

the 300Zx is so rare you have to be a bit of an enthusiast to end up with one, so you likely to know what its capable of and want to look after it, well that's my opinion anyway... i don't know anyone who drives a Zed like a K**b... well maybe i havn't met many of you yet..:tongue_smilie: it is ok if i use *astrix* instead?
