got to be done right theres alot of bare-metaling to do before you bond the arches on and you would want the piece of mind that its all been treated before the arch went on for good.

Might be worth checking the level/condition of the fluid Andy. Flush the system including cooler.

Im near Chelmsford not far from you glad to help out if needed. ive never done a manual conversion tbh so i wouldnt know but if you know your way round a vernier your be ok. Shift kits (hardware kit) are good for raising line pressure in the box for more reliablity with higher Bhp but the drive plate is the weakess link in the change so you need to think about what bhp your after. have a chat with Andy Isherwood. He has done his homework on upgrades.

can you hear the sound from inside the car? Im thinking maybe it might be the lock sol on the gear selector, the one that holds it in park till you put your foot on the brake to release it??
