Nightmare!
Literally! I had a restless night yesterday and I just remembered what it was... I dreamt I was in my Zed, trundling along through a village doing about 30; it was raining but other than that all was fine. I then got to the national speed limit bit and put my foot down... nothing... the car merely inched faster, and I had a Fiesta come right up behind me and start getting irate. I kept backing off, and flooring it again all to no avail. I got so pissed off, but as you often do in dreams never stopped to check anything, just kept repetitively trying and failing the same thing over and over again! I was thinking massive boost leak, loss of compression, sodden filter, damp MAF, all sorts. It was horrible! My Zed's fine today :)

Out of interest pk, how does it perform compared with a Zed?

Nice one mate! Out of interest, is there anyway the video can be extracted? Or is it view-only?

Red Zed heading South/West on the M3
Between J3 and J4, about 10:45. Only got a brief glance as I was heading the other way in a non-Zed. Looked like a stock car, with a Lady driving and a Bloke riding shotgun. Anyone here???

Nsx Or R33 Gtr
I'd go for the NSX. GTR is probably a more practical car day-to-day and also probably faster on a track, but the NSX is better looking and more of a race-bred thang- my heart would over-rule the brain. :)

One for V8 fans...
Agreed- the bonnet scoop is a bit OTT, but it's a means to an end. The only solution for a given setup. If it was me who'd come up with the idea to stick 12.9L in a teeny tiny cobra, you wouldn't have been able to stop me giggling from the day I thought of it!

Poll: How do you afford your Zed?!
I just had a thought... how is we all keep our Zeds going and can afford their heavy drinking habit? How many people just chuck money at it, and how many have to scrimp and save?! Me, I don't want to know! Just clinging on, but if any big repairs need doing, I'm not sure what I'll do next...

mr new car
Great lines there mate, are you involved in the car industry then?! Looks like it's inspired by this... http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=2523 .. but obviously yours would beat it hands down! :D

1 bar in all gears ????
Is it actually random, or lower boost in specific (lower) gears? I though the AVC-R is fed the current gear from the ECU, allowing you to set it up to limit boost and therefore wheelspin in lower gears? Which might explain what you're seeing. However, that's only what I've gleaned from my mate who has on in his 200SX. I'll be gladly shot down! :)

Would you walk on this?
lol yep, and it's funny how many people walk across the metal joins rather than the glass itself! I think I'd give it a go, once I'd seen a few people go around without it collapsing...

Any people on here in bands or make music?
I'm in a 6-piece covers band (soul/motown/funk/party stuff for functions). Used to do dabble with my own dancy stuff, but just as I was making an effort to write things I got involved with the band and that's kind of been the focus from then on. Plus the car, plus the MTB, plus the girlfriend. All in reverse order of importance, in case she ever reads this!

SE Box Hill to Brighton Run - 20 August 2006
Sorry if I lost anyone leaving Brighton- I wasn't sure exactly who was following me. What with it being bedlam right in the centre and finding an alternative route, I kind of lost track of who said they were going where. Anyway, hope no-one got stupendously lost. Cheers for organising the rolling meet, Steve! Always a good-un :) There should be more convoy meets. :hyper: And what about the classy lunchtime eating establishment? Mmm... that was a tasty fry-up :D Sussex stu- LOL'd at you overtaking us round that bend! A grand day out.
