  1. So Jaffa you have added extra pump and filter - but you still have the original single stock feed into - and out of the rail right? Andy
  2. Hmmm I originally thought the same - but then I talked myself out of the two pumps part of the deal. As I see it the problem is only that injector 6 and possibly 3 can suffer starvation right? So just Tee'ing the supply to each side as you suggested should fix that - especially as I plan to up the pressure with a racing regulator. So I thought two pumps would be overkill (for me personally). But I am not an engine guru and will take advice accordingly.
  3. Cheers legrath matey - so the lower plenum and fuel rail from a 95 car are now on my shopping list then...
  4. or... Fuel pump -> fuel line -> Y splitter -> 2 lines, 1 to each fuel rail, 2 lines return to FPR via Y splitter -> 1 line return to tank
  5. ...one to each side of the fuel rail?
  6. I have a 1990 TT and have seen on an Aussie site that the 95 model fuel rail seems to be in some demand - did it change for the better in the 95 model TT? :o
  7. Hi, I have been talking to a colleague (race car engine builder) who has some experience with the VG30 TT engine and he is telling me that the stock injectors are only good for 420hp/330kw max (at 6000rpm) - if we want more then it's fuel rail/bigger injector time - is that a true'ish statement guys? :o
  8. Well done guys - you probably saved a life ;-)) Good decision Milly.
  9. No - my engine is going commando ;-))
  10. Cheers Mikey - Nice of you to offer - but I dont need any - I am trying to replace them with shiny stuff ;-)) Thanks again.
  11. The 4 x retaining bolts on each of the Exhaust Cam sprockets seem to be a strange size - are they M7!?!?!?!?! And Why!?!?!??! Everything else is M6 or M8? :headvswal Any help appreciated.
  12. That would drive me nuts - the FMIC is not straight and the FMIC pipes are at different angles as viewed via the vents under the indicators. :smw: YES I am that weird! Just does not look right! soz!
  13. ...all the marks line up again? As in: After initial setup - with the new belt installed with all the marks lined up.... Does that make sense?
  14. Well you cleaned the connections - but what about the wires? have to wiggled, and yanked everything about whilst she is ticking over?
  15. ...so clutches elude me ;-))
  16. I'm still with the auto-box with SAW (Shift At Will) - until I blow that up ;-))
  17. Sorry to hear about your clutch - bummer
  18. Get some silicone grease (Servisol or similar) - and (ater cleaning again) stuff the connectors with it - last time you will ever have to worry about that issue. You can ge it a Maplins if you have one handy -or of course ebay.
  19. But will that prevent me slotting 555's in there at some point soon?
  20. Why bother - it's a cost over time kinda thing - can swing the 300 for the rails - but don't want to pay the 600 for the injectors right now so... I was hoping for an upgrade path - but it seems there are only two hopes, no hope - and Bob Hope (and he is dead)! DOH!
