  1. I have a problem with my indicators too - they will not stay on - keep flashing - I think I have an intermittent fault - ;-) Can anyone help me?
  2. I am seriously thinking of putting my car into my local Nissan Dealer for an oil change (they can do that - right?) when it's done -as long as I can watch from the viewing bay ha ha - can you imagine? A
  3. Thats what my scrummy honey says - just before she shouts - get that bloody thing finished and away from my Merc!!!! Women! (not compalining - very happy). Phew!
  4. BTW - I think this should be awarded the MOD of the year - but I am slightly bias I guess ;-)) And I spose it does require upper and lower plenum removal - BUT - I do think it should go on the list of things to do when you remove your plenum for sure. Comments appreciated as ever. Andy
  5. BTW - most people think I am bonkers putting it there -be ready to fight off the haters ok :D Let me know how you proceed - just out of interest.

  7. Stella - you can't stretch it that far - one would have to lengthen every wire in and out - not good ;-))
  8. I would reccomend the Driftworks kit - keep the TT power steering pump but read the article on doing the bypass and devaning/removing the stuff from the TT pump.
  9. Did you not see my pics dude? :nana2:
  10. It does not stretch that far - one would have to extend every connection in and out - not a nice job. :smash:
  11. Hi Matey, Well to TBH most of my engine is still in the post!!! :hyper: So I can't give a valid review in terms of every day driving. I really don't see why not (and it forms a big part of my engine compartment re-organisation - so I am pretty committed to it) - so I am going to go with it and see how it pans out. Aircon has been deleted, no viscous fan - bags of room for it. It fits in great with the other changes I have made (A LOT OF CHANGES body & mechanical) and there will be nothing left standard by the time i have done so.... I know a couple of people have moved them to sit under the added slam panel, I guess that works for them but then they have to remove the panel to change a fuse? I have LED lighting to illuminate the fuse box and I am going to be able to access it from above or below so... I am happy with that. ...not sure if that helps.
  12. Will a 200SX pump bolt straight on guys??
  13. Will any of the RB pumps work/fit with regards the HICAS removal and pump swap?
  14. I have modded this design slightly and created a nice 'seat' for the Fuel Filter - rather than a bracket as before - here is a quick pic... The three holes and the raised area are for the Fuel Pressure Regulator mounting. I will be making a couple of stainless straps to hold that baby down ;-)
  15. Is the engine good - or blown? I need a right hand (Battery side) valve cover ;-))
  16. In my third picture above - that's looking from the rear of the engine into/behind where the EGR unit is normally - so that should allow you to figure out where it is. Is the engine out of the car Daz?
  17. If it's a known good sensor yes matey - it's hiding in the very heart of the engine - in the cleavage of the V under the lower plenum. They are over a £100.00 new and the sub-loom that attaches them is also about £30.00 or £40.00 now. Code 34 means Knock Sensor error - sends the car into safety boost. Normally it is the wiring that is to blame but... You either have to remove the upper and lower plenum - or if the engine is out - then remove the EGR and water pipes - to get a spanner on it. Looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=280279764738 Hope that helps. Andy :)
  18. I can get my fat hand in there with a spanner now - yippee - no more Knock Sensor Stress! ;-)) (Still have to remove stuff - just not the engine!
