  1. Hmmm - I have decided to complicate things by removing the now redundant cruise control cable gear and pulley from the throttle control assembly - WHY DO WE DO THESE CRAZY THINGS!!! ;-))
  2. Me thinks your going to either have to get the right base bracket/plate for a TT or get your angel grinder/welding gear out and MOD the one you have!
  3. I think we are assuming your rad has two lugs on the base that fit in the OEM rubber grommeted holes (where you have one missing). Is that not the case?
  4. Ant, pictures of the RAD might help - I though Smithy had nailed the answer as above!
  5. Well I don't entirely agree with any of that - I have been buying stuff from the US steadily for about 3 years now and YES the exchange rate is not 2-1 anymore - but neither is it terrible. And I have noticed only a slight increase in shipping charges, which has been balanced out by exchange rates and the VERY KEEN prices available from people like Courtesy. And my point was - WHY IS IT CHEAPER to buy from the states than here in the UK. I was not moaning about the change in the cost of parts from the USA matey. ;-)) I am assuming that OEM from JAPAN is the problem in terms of stupid prices, zero discount etc.
  6. I have spent enough of my Tuesday evening pondering your [lack of] boost young man - talk to ya tomorrow - have a good one and good luck with the leak test - betcha find something ;-))
  7. What about the quality of your vac lines - maybe they are collapsing?
  8. ..also - [another] daft question - what are the specs for your turbo's?
  9. Well I guess we will find out tomoz when Jimmy does another boost leak test :taz:
  10. ok ok - just trying to get your brain working - only you know what you have changed/done on the way to where you are now. Often a daft question or a poke in a different direction can stimulate some recall ;-)) It sounds like it's gonna be something silly!! ;-)
  11. Just stabbing in order to stimulate your juices - what's the status of your [boost] solenoids???
  12. Thanks Jeff - fully appreciate your full and informative response - it sure helps me (at least) understand why I have to ship parts around the globe to save money (but kill the planet) ;-)) Do we have anyone from Nissan UK on this forum who would like to comment?? A
  13. Hi, I always try and buy OEM from the traders on this forum, but recently it has become MUCH more sensible to suffer the pain and extra cost of using Courtesy or other USA based suppliers. I recently bought 460USD (£280.00) worth of stuff from Courtesy and even after the import duty/VAT I still saved a good £70.00 !!!!! (And received the goods in 5 days). As a point of example - the simple water temp sensor (25080 single connection) is currently £40.62 (plus delivery) from Mike F and I can buy it from Courtesy for 21USD - that's about £13.00 plus shipping. :tt2: What is going on! I will go on supporting Mike and Dan whenever I can but sometimes it just seems that the prices are silly now! Is it just me - or has it got a little silly???!?! :online2long:
  14. ..But he would have to copy and make a copy for the standard bumper - and then make a modified version for all of the other copied copies of other peoples bumpers that he sells right!! Thats a lot of work! ;-))
  15. oooh errr missus - nah! She's tooooo special ;-)
  16. These are very good chaps... http://www.driftworks.com/catalog/products/driftworks-60mm-race-quick-release-steering-spacer.html
