  1. Mathew, you need the vb6 runtime files to get it to work, as it uses a common control to make the dialogue box. What message did you get exactly?
  2. Lol, I've obviously never seen an SE code, but I'd imagine the differences are something like this: Higher Rev and speed limit. Feedback upped (not too sure but I think this is the amount of correction applied by the ECU in closed loop mode) TTP Max altered to allow a little more fuel off idle - presumably gives better pickup. Fuel maps altered slightly to lean out the top end a little. Timing map altered to advance a little, particulaly at high revs / load. The differences in the maps aren't huge, but definately there. It's a stock '93 manual J-Spec code I compared it to which I think has better timing than the UK one anyway. I made an excel file to anylise the maps if you want to import it to look. It's up for download Here the filename is V3_1.1.xls
  3. PM Leigh (Friday) he had some pics of his exhaust from underneath that I'd asked him for. Sounds like what you're after. Single exit sounds awsome, much better than dual IMO, getting one made asap!
  4. Cheers Paul, will do. Normally I just do them by eye, or with a socket, but the one I'm putting on is a rigid centred paddle, so needs to be spot on.
  5. Anybody got a clutch alignment tool I can borrow for a while? CheerZ

I've got a full set of original nissan ones for a 2+2 for £40 if you want them?
  7. Cheers, oddly enough that's exactly what I was after ;)
  8. In theory, you shouldn't need the drivability upgrade if you tweak the VQ table in the ECU. I've got an emulator if you want to try it. Looked into this a while ago, and the drivability thing isn't considered to be a particularly good idea as it lets unmetered air in to correct the richness at idle.
  9. Anyone got instructions for the Apexi turbo timer? Got one in may car and not too sure how the settings work. Cheers
  10. Same here, £1023 with all mods declared, 26yo with a few points, no crashes
  11. Adam, have you considered that dialling in more fuel with the AFC affects the timing too on a Z. I know in general the timing is reduced as load increases, but there are some areas where it'll bump the timing up a little - worth thinking about anyway. If you want a chip modded for dual pop at any time let me know, should be able to sort it out.
  12. Sure deemon tweaks do alloy blanking plugs for all hose sizes, worth a shot anyway.
  13. Lol, wondered if that's what you were saying - couldn't hear it over the racket it was making!! Still going for a single exit though ... Has your mate decided to buy one yet?
  14. Are you guys using the Fast Road or Race compound (I think its RS4 and R4)??
  15. Yeah, nice one. Good to put some more faces to names too. Cheers to Danny for the ConZult demo too, top piece of kit, may just be investing soon. No bother for the targa bags Leigh, got a spare set anyway, so no hassle to me, give me a buzz when you want to sort out your lack of power!
  16. Its a pretty standard connector AFAIK. Just got to a scrap yard and look for one (injector/temp sender connector of anything with Bosch system)
  17. Hi, Do subscribed members have a membership no? My insurance company want one. Cheers
  18. Anyone had problems fitting the energy suspension bushes, have heard you have to modify the subframe
  19. Nice one mate, you should come the the meet at solihull on Sunday.
  20. Cheers Tony. Going well, Ta. Maybe see you at solihull at the weekend.
  21. Anyone have an address for the Z club website? Cheers
  22. You might want to check if the ECU's are pin compatible - just a thought but you might be able to swap it for an old one
  23. Come on Pete, I've never gone for that shiney engine stuff! As long as it works I really don't care!! If Berks wants to clean because it offends him though .... The cusco diff is a plate diff, not a viscous one, so it transferres the power from the wheel with less grip more quickly. When you're going round a junction slowly, it squeals the inside tyre really loud - makes everyone look round as if you're a nutter, then they realise you're crawling! On the bends and particularly for launching it seems to give more grip. It is pretty unforgiving though - if you lift off, even when you're nowhere near loaded up it snaps as the drive comes off and whips the back round - bit scary on a wet roundabout! Clunks and rattles and bangs too when it's cold.
  24. Cheers guys, see you on Sunday. Starting to like this diff now. Horrendus when it's cold, but stupidly easy to drift when its warmed up - or that might be the el cheapo 225 tyres!
  25. You're right about the daughter board, guess they just integrated it into some of the other bits. You could look into doing it yourself, look for an EPROM number on one of the chips, and RS do converter sockets to change it to a DIP, it might all fit in there but I'd imagine soldering it would be a nightmare without all the proper iron heads and things. You'd still have to get hold of a tuned ROM for it though.
