If you do a search mate, youll find that there are a fair few front mount intercoolers available. The thing you need to consider is that alot of the cheaper FMICs are nowhere near as efficient as a well designed SMIC (Such as Stillen/Pace/Greddy). The problem with Ebay Specials is that yes they may look pretty, and well made, but the cores are no where as well designed as the better known brands. If you do decide to go down the FMIC route, then id save the pennies and go for a reputable brand. I know for a fact the HKS and GREDDY FMIC's are very well made with high quality cores.

IF they make another F&F, it has to have Paul and Vin. Their characters deffinatly have the chemistry that was missing from F&F2 and Tokyo Drift. I think it will probably be placed between F&F 4 and tokyo drift. Looks like universal have confirmed that its in the pipeline as well. Stu, deffo go for the RPS mate! any but twin plate carbon exedys are like chewing gum and wont last long, i had an exedy when it went pop in lemans and silverbullet has just blown his exedy up as well. But in answer to your question, a new friction plate should work fine as long as your happy with the condition of the rest of the clutch
