Clutch issues
Bloody hell, theres a name from the past!!!! Stu, deffo go for the RPS mate! any but twin plate carbon exedys are like chewing gum and wont last long, i had an exedy when it went pop in lemans and silverbullet has just blown his exedy up as well. But in answer to your question, a new friction plate should work fine as long as your happy with the condition of the rest of the clutch

Thinking of selling up.
Ive never had depression mate, but i have to deal with some of the more severe cases at work. Ive always had a way of making people see the positives in situations and manage to keep reality in touch. Ill PM you my number, anytime you need a chat mate

Thinking of selling up.
Chin up fella. All ill say is, will selling the zed make any improvement to your situation? You know where i am if you need a chat fella

You reckon this is an OEM Z32 colour?..
Ill give you a buzz when im next about, ill bring my paint thickness gauge over and ill be able to give you an idea where you stand. If its as you say and you can see primer under the paint, then whoever did the machine polishing has completely fubar'd it, and struck through the clear coat. If that it the case, then your right, itll need a respray. But if not, there may be life in the old girl yet and it may be possible to make a significant improvement.

Swirl marks in your paint will make seem to have more of a pink tint to it mate. If you wana bring back the deep glossyness to your paint, you need to machine polish it. Or PM me and ill see what i can do :D

Very difficult to tell. I certainly dont think its the same red as yours joel, it doesnt appear to have as much orange in it, but i dont think its got as much purple in it as the Wine red used on the skylines. Any other pics?

Amazing!!!
I think the one that is really fake is the large black fella who puts the ball in the throwing machine and sprints and catches it. When the camera pans up he is about 20 meters away, then when the camera pans back down all of 2 seconds later, hes about 100meters away. Deffinatly some editing there! Otherwise, the ones like the kicking and catching, very good!

Looks like its all over

Somebody tried breaking into the Z !
Sorry to hear that mate Yep looks like they have tried to use a jemmy to get to the inside door latch to get the door open. Get it out of sight ASAP mate, the likely hood is they will be back to try again.

tbh gaz, legrath is spot on. So many zeds are running tired suspension, it makes it difficult to make a compelling arguement. The problem is, it all depends what your comparing the zed to? Im going to guess people compair them to something like an Evo6 or scoob sti, or even a R33/34 GTR. The fact is things like the Evo, their forte IS handling and agility, there made to be agile for when the homoglamation takes place for the rally cars, whilst the zed was generally designed from to be a fast GT car (ok less so with something like a swb slicktop). The next time someone says "your zed handles like a boat in comparison to my evo" just reply "your evo handles like a boat in comparison to a Radical SR8":mac1:. No doubt they will come back with the old, "aaah well thats different, there completely different cars" but the fact is so is something like comparing the evo and the zed. When it comes to the skyline boys, i can only comment on the R33 GTR. Ive only driven 2 (a 95 and a 97). The 95 felt pretty sloppy and was no doubt suffering the same probs as a similar aged zed with worn suspension, and the 97 was a pretty nice drive. However, yet again, id say they were two cars in completely different classes designed for different reasons. IMHO the only Jap cars you can really compair the zed to are the Supra, RX7 and the GTO/3000GT, and i know which id rather have!

Wish me luck!
Good luck with the venture mate! The only thing i can possibley suggest that may help you mate would be find a high end car garage in your area and try and get them on board. You and I both know Joe Public dont really get the whole detailing thing whilst people who buy high end cars have a bit more appriciation for it (a generalisation i know but you know what i mean) If you ever end up with a big job in the hants/surrey area, gimme a shout, ill give you a hand ;)
