lol well i fit into the above mentioned group :) all though my tattooist isnt cheap at £80 an hour but he is fast though. But like they say `CHEAP TATTOOS AREN'T GOOD, AND GOOD TATTOOS AREN'T CHEAP ` I have to agree but ive spent £600 in the last 6 months on 2 tattoos

My Jap TT hasnt got one and im sure there are plenty of Japp TTs over here without them that work fine. IMO its just another system that can be deleted

I know what you mean about the little one in front of the oil cooler i have it on my UK spec TT but not on the Jap one not too sure what it is for allthough i have a manual and an automatic but i wouldnt think it is anything to do with gearbox being all the way at the front

Yeah there is AIV in that area but i dont remember it having any electrical connector. If the carbon canister has been dumped the AIVs probably have too

First is boost sensor i believe 99.9% Second look at the pic carbon canister may have been deleted check for boost hose under the left hand throttle body Down by the bonnet catch looks like air con has gone maybe and pipes are still there as well as connector for air con fan IIRC Marty

They need changing they are stretch bolts. Speak to MJP Mr F in the traders section to get them from the UK probably the best price. Im just doing an engine at the moment but getting my parts from CZP in America as as getting a few bits off them and their prices work out cheaper. You will also need all the other gaskets to do the job like plenum and rocker covers ideally. Engine is pretty simple to strip so you shouldnt have any problems really.
