  1. yes it is was just gonna say
  2. Godday sport welcome back :)
  3. Could be quite an easy fix i would say however as long as he has been honest and the rest of the engine is ok. The fact that it turns over is a great sign. A simple check to see if your getting a spark and then it can be narrowed down to fuel problem. I would get it transported from there straight into Zedworld to be fixed. I have used a site to transport cars about before and its a whole host of transporters bidding for the job so you get quite a good deal and they have the usual feedback and so on. Worth a punt id say :)
  4. Did you catch any of the women when they turned around?
  5. Redline MT90 is what i got recommended when i asked before seems to be great stuff. Opie oils do it Marty
  6. To do a full delete it is best to get a NA power steering pump IMO therefore they dont have Hicas and i preferred this idea to the blanking/rerouting union supplied with other kits. You then need hicas lock out kit for the rear. I have the SPL kit from Smithys so it eliminates the inner ball joints on the hicas as well. Plenty of kits out there to do the job just depends how much you wanna spend
  7. remove the whole thing then remove the centre connecting lug this just connects to the slip ring for the wiring connections to pass up through. Now the horn will earth through the body however on mine i had to swap over the 2 wires in the bottom left off the steering column as this was the only one that would connect with the momo boss so you still get ur horn connecting to the right circuit. then the plastic piece that goes over that mounted with 4 screws will have to be shaved slightly to accommodate the new steering wheel otherwise it will rub. the steering wheel is perfectly mounted by the one nut as the splines and taper hold onto the steering wheel HTH Marty
  8. looks right just like my momo one but you have to modify the steering column slightly so that it fits. you have to remove the standard electrical connection on there
  9. Ive got one of these
  10. It is M10 and the top one is a stud with the bottom being a bolt. I forget what the length is but this wouldnt be hard to measure
  11. Ah good stuff thanks Richard
  12. Anyone had a letter from the independant car park lot called Parking eye? I overstayed my welcome in a industrial car park that they had signs up in. Did a search on google and came up with money saving expert forum where everyone says not to pay it as they will never take action and it is just a mere scam.
  13. Ive got a contact 5 miles from me breaking a GTO and failing that a guy called Graham in Leeds that everyone seems to use as he breaks loads of GTO`s. Give him a call 01132551067
  14. Ah superb :) thats a type 3 i believe not a type 2 this is the type 2 http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/92fairladyz/parts/spoilers/ABFlugType2.jpg
  15. Im just doin a couple of bits and bobs to the GTO before i do any long journeys or switch over from the zed. Still gotta get a good clean done and clean the interior so i can take some pics :) Got a dent on rear wing where someone sat on it as well but this will push out quite easy.
  16. Yep its not inline like the zed
  17. Had a little coolant leak on my GTO so thought i would sort it out. Got onto the job and found where it was and i thought to myself ah good thats easy just need a new hose which i got from a guy breaking a GTO 5 miles from me. Swapped out the pipe and still the same :( So had to take a few more bits off and hey presto found the problem. Only took me 2 hours to strip down to this as well which does seem alot easier to work on than the zed. Marty
  18. interesting i thought Andre was the only one to have it in UK
  19. http://abflug.jp/ if you go to products then the 300 and then page through to the abflug type 2 spoiler its there :)
  20. Ah the eonon ones or something like that. I am looking at getting these and people that have got them on here have said good things about them :)
  21. Ive just got a snooper on its own but most sat navs now can be downloaded with speed camera locations
  22. Can you add lego men as well in the seats :)
  23. My old managed a 300 mile round trip last night however i did bump into a S15 Silvia on the M6 and we exchanged a few blips of the throttle which she didnt like as i had a weird couple of points where i lost boost. So on the way home i decided to treat her to a nice steady journey.
  24. Ok guys picked up the GTO today and once ive cleaned her i will post some pics however i want to get cracking on swapping out the old coolant pipes as i know these went first on my zed with them being 17 year old. Now ive got about 60 sites in my favorites all over the world for all sorts of zed parts but nothing for the GTO so i need to build up the favorites for parts. Gave me an idea for a thread actually to pass on this knowledge of websites :) Could the guys that have owned GTO`s or own them now post some links to good sites for parts as the GTO forum dont seem as friendly as zed drivers plus it looks like if you aint paid your subs no one will help you out which from what i read is £40 for 6 months which seems a bit extreme for a daily run about. Cheers Marty
  25. thanks alot i have been told about these switches failing and they go on ebay for 8 quid i think so not too expensive a job. I am quite pleased with this find as it is an import been in the country 3 years so the bodywork is in great condition and no rot.
