Im going for alcantara
Yeah ive been quoted that i would need about 3 metres to do the interior panels but i shall get 4 for a bit more discount and just to be on the safe side. As far as im aware you cant really copy alcantara can you? The samples feel very real to alcantara that i have felt before and the guy has stated that it comes with the logo print on the back so i think it is just a good contact i have found

Anyone read Japanese?
all i need to try and work out is whether they can ship a spoiler to the UK and prices as i cant seem to find anyone else that does it. Ive emailed them anyway asking. They spoke pretty good english in Tokoyo Drift

Anyone read Japanese?
Exactly as above i cant get the Abflug website to convert to english properly and they seem to be the only people to order the type 2 spoiler from. Marty

Im going for alcantara
Oh i think i may of given Si a heart attack with the finished product with words like Nitrous Oxide, vented wings, blue interior and Abflug spoiler. If only AMZ site was working i could find out if they can hold of the spoiler for me :)

Gearbox rebuild
Well this is the thing from what i could make out it was the owners choice to put a new gearbox and clutch on as they had a spare so i will see what i find and if nothing like this has been posted before i will take plenty of pics of progress.

Im going for alcantara
Received a few samples today of alcantara today which is what im going to be using on the interior. Just got to choose what shade to go for now on a black zed. Im thinking of going quite dark now to keep it subtle.

Gearbox rebuild
it might just be the release bearing that is making a noise and would be easy but to make sure im gonna strip it anyway to check out the internals as last thing i wanna do is fit a duff gearbox.

Gearbox rebuild
cos the guy that i got it off told me :) It was removed from a customers car as they got another gearbox to put in as it was making a slight noise. So seeing this bargain i decided to get it rather than it go for scrap

Gearbox rebuild
Hey folks i have managed to get hold of a manual gearbox which i am going to overhaul as the bearings on it where starting to wear. Is there any helpful aids on the internet or any members that have rebuilt these gearboxes before. Not really gonna be a problem splitting it apart it would just be helpful to know whos brain to pick if i can across any problems. Cheers Marty

fresh from the body shop with some other photo updates
Lovely looking paint job you have there :) ive been toying with what to do with my rear end and i remember someone saying that a lwb doesnt look right without a spoiler and finally i have seen a pic of one without and i have to agree. I think the lwb needs something on the rear end to finish that long look off. Also ive got my hands on exactly the same glove box install looks like there were a few of these made and at current it has exhaust gas temp gauge and compound boost gauge but i reckon i will be changing this. ferry question ? anyone
ive travelled to Germany and back many times before ferries arent like planes where the hike up the prices its pretty much turn up and get the same price as you would if you booked in advance. Ive done it in Holland before just turning up and getting a ticket but best to check availability in case there is a mad rush to get out of Ireland. Also you can take a travel companies number and just book it over the ohone in advance when your there. Only problem is booking a flight on the day isnt going to be cheap.
