  1. True Pete there is a machined block that has been produced for that and I learnt to cadence brake anyway so it's wasted on me.
  2. GK tech do an adapter. https://conceptzperformance.com/gktech-brake-booster-delete-adapter-kit-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-300zx-z32-240sx-s13-s14-s15-budg-bmst_p_39433.php I just need to work out the rest and reviews etc. I know Chase bays do a similar design as well. Would make for a tidier and easier to work on engine bay.
  3. Yes partly that, partly due to liking to try things and partly due to engine bay space saving. There is a developed method in the US to use an adapter plate and Wilwood MC in place instead to delete the pedal assisted vacuum design. It will be a bit of lever and pressure over a given area theory but it's got me interested.
  4. Gooday folks. Looking at the FSM on ABS system and just want to confirm my thinking. It looks to be that the OEM MC is a tandem type and I he 2 lines coming off essentially are for front and rear brakes through the ABS pump and with the brake bias built into the MC. If the MC was changed to a single output then this would require a brake bias valve to be incorporated into the lines before the ABS pump. Sound about right? Marty
  5. Couple that with the even smaller number of Zed owners that would spend that kind of cash on such upgrades and you are maybe down to a handful of people. Once that has been exhausted the turnaround of new owners spending large amounts would be slim. I’ve found it’s just simpler now to pick up my parts on my travels around the world or order in from Japan rather than paying inflated UK prices.
  6. Very true indeed and even the suppliers/garages we have are unable to become distributors for such companies as Twinz. Easier to get a flight to US/Japan and post your own stuff back.
  7. Looks tidy welcome. Marty
  8. The Twinz stuff does look nice and has the price tag to go with it. If you are up to date on productions in the US there are a fair few items being made in the pipeline by various manufacturers. Just really highlights the lack of interest in the UK to create much or the funds to do so.
  9. Many thanks great to meet you and spot a few ideas on what to do with ladies stockings.

  11. He missed out ‘rare’ in the title though that seems to be the trend at the moment. A lot of gash around at the minute trying to ride the wave of 10/15k with thousands spent and if you drill into the receipts it’s 60% labour costs. As Shania Twain said ‘it don’t impress me much’
  12. Yes of course I’m not involved in this at all and just a personal friend so I wanted to check that he was ok. I shall now withdraw myself from this thread as it does not concern me.
  13. I’ve been in touch with Si personally and he acknowledges this thread and will be in touch for those that are struggling to reach him.
  14. Very well then for those that are looking for engine bay hose replacement have a look at Roose Motorsport. https://roosemotorsport.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=300zx As I said they have the tooling made to create all the hoses for the Z32 RHD and produce quality hoses which was a necessity in my search. I do not gain from any of the sales it just simply highlights a UK manufacturer.
  15. Approval required by mods. A couple of years ago I commissioned a silicone hose manufacturer to reproduce the engine bay hoses since they were starting to perish and UK stock was dwindling and non existent for quality replacements. I provided the company with a full set of OEM hoses and in return I had a set given to me for free. The company now has the tooling made to reproduce these hoses and list them on their website which is what I have on my zed on show today at the AGM. As pointed out to me today others are probably unaware of the availability in the UK and if mods are happy that it doesn’t compete with other traders then I shall share the details and you can look for yourself. Marty

  17. Roose motorsport in Lincoln do the full set. I gave them all the original hoses to make tooling so they could reproduce them and it’s what I run with on my zed now as it’s quality hose.
  18. Best to call him as i think with each build being individual to the person people dont like to openly quote but i suspect in the region of 4k
  19. I’ve got these fitted no issues. Are you doing the full kit so all 4? It’s straight forward for a good mechanic really.
  20. Yes it does just gives another dynamic to club growth if people are renewing and new people are subscribing. I think I saw there was 121 that expired in 2018 I think so if only 80 of these renewed and there was only 20 new subscription then the numbers show another story. Of course it’s not all about subscribing to be part of the club and new registered members may actually go dormant quite quickly if their one question gets answered and that’s them fulfilled. I know on my Elgrand forum you have to make 10 posts before you can access the technical forums and post in them. Some grumble about it I saw it as fair enough and now post a fair bit on there. Just an idea from another forum although I’m sure there is another thread for that.
  21. Just looking at these figures it seems to tell one side of the story of people either renewing or signing up. What is the figure for people that have been subscribed and have not renewed or subscribed users at the end of 2017 compared with 2018? Maybe a reflection of how subscriptions are going? Or did i miss that information?
  22. Dont you still build mud huts up that neck of the woods?
  23. Dodgy garages down that neck of the woods :D
  24. Looks tidy that. Enjoy the difference being in a shorty.
