i time you need to get a different pulley for you water pump to overdrive it to keep it cool ive read about it before sometimes you get away with it i think

tried them it came back saying they cant quote

but im on classic insurance with agreed value so im not sure it is that easy

Anyone know a company that will insure a zed temporary as the ones i have tried are coming out saying that they cant cos it is over 15 year old. I only want to insure for a month or 2 while i take my other zed off the road.

put it this way my swb NA auto will be going up for sale with 12m mot and 6m tax for around 2k. I wouldnt pay more than 1k for one without mot or tax

Classic insurance is possible on these cars with companies like Lynbrook The UK vs Import argument is to do with the rust issue as you do not find many rust free UK zeds now and alot of the time the rust is in places you cannot see hence people going for imports. Yep hence the reason going for a 350z/G35 set up instead just need silicone couplers made :)

The MAFs would of not been fuctional just dummy mafs simply to use as an adapter onto larger filters however after speaking to CZP there is better ways around it.

I will be going AEM in the future also however maybe Thor racing is recommended by others but not me! I know an ex member and friend off here that got severely done over by them and i wouldnt dream of putting my zed in there suggest you find somewhere else to map it.

i take it you do mean thottle bodies and not MAFs? I looked at these but the whole mounting would be different to the standard throttle bodies hence i dont see it as a viable option as the plenum would have to be modified extremely. If after bigger throttle bodies then the Z1 ones should suffice On the MAF side i was going to run with 2 of theses and still have one for sale. I wasnt going to need a Maf sensor either using AEM ecu and was going to get custom silicone couplers made to fit as i have a doolz kit that will be used. My plan now is probablky to use the doolz kit and dummy mafs with 350z/G35 induction kits have a look at CZP and see what they do

i paid £150 for one before but the variation in quality from one to the next is extreme

I got an email from him earlier in the week as he is interested in my shorty TT that im selling and this was thrown into the equation but i have said that i want to concentrate on the slickie really even though it is a lovely zed. Incidentally i believe Mike at MJP used to own this zed too :)
