  1. I know what you mean mate. Before I got my zeds I couldn't even change the oil on a car! Since then my zed has had approximately a 90% strip down and rebuild, including new engine, manual conversion, complete refurb of rear subframe, new suspension, plus hundreds of other little jobs. Plus I broke my first one. All the work on both cars was done by myself and I've only been able to teach myself and do the jobs because of this site and the advice and help I've got from it. So thank you all :punk:
  2. I'll weigh one up for you tomorrow mate if nobody has it to hand.
  3. Would have thought that only Citroen would be able to re-code the key mate :(
  4. Caprica has been cancelled too, but saying that, last weeks episode was shite :)
  5. Welcome matey :)
  6. That's an idea, cheers mate.
  7. Bearing is fine mate, was wondering if there was a way of fitting it right first time so I didn't have to rotate it. Think I was just being hopeful lol
  8. That just sucks, i'd be ballin' me eye's out if it was mine......
  9. Saved the best till last then mate :chinese: That's The Fast Show mate :tt2:
  10. After converting to a manual box, I'm going to be fitting the prop tomorrow. I'm using the original auto rear half and a manual front. As the prop halves are from two different cars, I was wondering if there is any way to avoid vibration issues when it's fitted? Can't afford a one piece shaft at the moment so that's not an option.
  11. I've been a Norwich fan for the past 25 years, was a good season for us this time. probably be back in the Championship after next season though.......
  12. it is standard mate, in the auto engine  The manual one will need changing.
  13. I used plastidip on mine then 1 coat of matt lacquer.
  14. Welcome matey :)
  15. Best bet would be to ask Mr F in the traders section, he'll sort you out :)
  16. was just wondering if the spool quicker than a manual normally does?
  17. How quickly do the tubs spool mate?
  18. I had a manual engine in my first auto zed and the only difference I noticed when I went to a full auto (engine and gearbox) was that the auto engine boosted quicker, for the reasons you stated, but it wasn't any slower etc.
  19. no mate, i need them for fitting to my zed when I finally get it on the road.
  20. Yep no problem but you will need to change the spigot bush for an auto one.
  21. MJP mate, it's the perspex strip you need. They come in two types; with brake light cutout or without.
  22. I thought the piston were standard cast ones not forged? Isn't it because the supra has forged piston that you can up the power over 400 easier/cheaper than you can a zed?
  23. yep, but so would worn bushes, droplinks, hicas arms etc.
  24. there's about 5 of them on the Isle of Wight I think
