  1. they are the AIV pipes, they connect to a pipe on the cats. Looks like yours has been bypassed so no need to worry about them.
  2. you can get at the recircs via the centre panel but they are a tight fit in there. Not sure on your other questions.
  3. Great news on the girl mate. But that sounds really painful, your lucky you only broke your cheek bone. Could have mashed your nose in as well.
  4. ooh sounds painful. Sorry don't know what they'll do. I take it you asked that bird out then lol. Only joking mate. How did you do it?
  5. It was to stop the throttle bodies freezing up! Not really a concern, removing the pipes reduces the risk of a water leak, simplifies things a bit and makes it easier removing the plenum in the future.
  6. club spirit lives on
  7. no it doesn't, so there :tt2:
  8. true....
  9. Congrats on the purchase mate. The EGR valve is still there but it's easy to remove with the engine out. I can't say for sure if the plenum bypass has been done, have a look at the throttle bodies there is an inlet and outlet at the bottom front. If this is still connected up then no. Again though much easier to do with the engine out.
  10. You know me too well  I only had about £2 in my wallet.
  11. Is anybody else worried that all their personal info including credit card and purchase details has been nicked by some hackers and probably sold to Nigeria? I'm not worried myself but it has pee'd me off, not to mention that the networks been down for ages.
  12. At least they honestly looked as though they are in love. Wish them all the best.
  13. looks like I was to slow
  14. Sounds like a result mate
  15. If there is power going to the invertor then maybe you have a broken track in the light panel itself?
  16. that's where they should have stayed
  17. Good luck mate, sounds like you've got your work laid out in front of you. :hammer:
  18. It's just a case of undoing some bolts and disconnect a lead. That said there is a bolt on the rear of the unit that can be a right PITA to get at. I used a crows foot spanner and extension bar to reach it. Refitting is a reverse of removal. You need to take in to account the fact that doing this will release the gas so it's probably best done by a pro.
  19. It's a 2+2 though, thought you didn't like them?
  20. It depends on what your after, I wanted a true 2+2. You'll get lots of comments about the LWB being the Estate version etc. all rather boring. Both versions are great.
  21. Me too. The SWB is a bit nippier around the bends and weighs less. It's more of a sports car than a GT like the LWB is.
  22. Yeah it is. It's the second time I've seen the Ark Royal scrapped. Doesn't seem right to not have an "Ark" in the RN anymore.
  23. You need to narrow it down a bit
