Steams Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 (edited) After converting to a manual box, I'm going to be fitting the prop tomorrow. I'm using the original auto rear half and a manual front. As the prop halves are from two different cars, I was wondering if there is any way to avoid vibration issues when it's fitted? Can't afford a one piece shaft at the moment so that's not an option. groover Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 If once fitted it vibrates, undo the bolts on the front half and rotate 180deg should sort the issue. Assuming of course that the bearing you are fitting is fine. Quote

Think I was just being hopeful lol Quote
mantav8 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Only other option to be sure would be to take the whole assy to a prop specialist and have em' balance it.Not too expensive and it will be bob on! Quote
