  2. Yeah, but you save on the $50 postage, but definitely get rodgered on the 25% tax !
  3. Yes, it's covered in the 300zx Enthusiasts Guide by Ray Hutton. IIRC something to do with the 245/45 profile tyres not being approved for road use in Japan at the time, so they used 225/50 all round.

Why would we want to get in your pants if you're already in them ? LOL And while you're wondering what benefits the number of posts bring ... when you get to 250 you can load your own Avatar !
  5. Yeah, count me in, need some of the hoses anyway and a couple of spare valves may come in handy ... Hope this doesn't turn into another of ChrisC's camber kit group buys ! (All the cheques will now be out of date)
  6. Bugger - I did intend to post a comment saying there were more, but I forgot. Those where the ones I did when I replaced the PCV's anyway. Will do the rest one day ....

  8. I think the doors should be Macca's final mod - that would really make the car spectacular ! (A change of colour to yellow would be nice too ! lol :D)

Should be cheaper becuase they won't be the ones with adjustable damping.

Junior/Senior is just based around number of posts. You soon get to understand who knows what they're talking about when it comes to technical issues.

Call Jeff TT at ZedWorld - it was he who discovered they were so cheap.
  13. Just buy the 22" wiper arms or whatever they are. They're a standard fitment.

Pukka Nissan ones are surprisingly cheap - something like £27-£35 !
  15. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/?news/ae_news_story.php?id=36017 Nissan Lifts The Lid On Its Z-Car Visitors to this week's New York Motor Show witnessed the world debut of the all-new Nissan 350Z Roadster. Designed to take on Audi's soft-top TT and BMW's long-awaited Z4, the roofless Nissan mixes stylish looks with impressive performance. Power comes from a meaty 3.5-litre V6, feeding 287bhp through the rear wheels to create a traditional sportster feel. The roof mechanism is a slick feat of engineering, taking only 15 seconds to fold under trim above the boot. Unfortunately for enthusiastic drivers, though, the cabrio won't get the high-performance Brembo brakes or six-speed manual box of the coupé. Prices have yet to be announced, but the convertible is expected to cost around £30,000, making it far more expensive than the £21,450 entry-level TT rag-top. Yet this is unlikely to put buyers off - the 350Z hard-top costs £25,000, but Nissan sold its 2003 UK allocation of 450 cars in less than an hour.

Hierachy ? Well Craig set up this forum and it ran for a couple of years on "borrowed" hardware and bandwidth. The time came to make it official and we had to fund hardware, software and bandwidth. We were lucky in that Senna provided the hardware for a good price and Mike Groves now hosts it at his company for free (up to a bandwidth limit). The contributions paid for that and any excess will be used to fund hardware/software repairs, upgrades etc and perhaps to fund club spaces at events like Billing or whatever. People involved are :- Craig & Nico (Admin), although Nico has gone AWOL Me (Moderator and part-time admin) Gio, AndrewG, Martinfa, Lymon (Moderators) That's it .... Enjoy !
  17. Jeez, I've always thought fitting car stereos was a licence to print money !

All you need to do is read and follow these instructions :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16444 If you have not received the info from Craig then let me know by email and I will send them ...
  19. And GT40's !
  20. Just maybe they'd have sold a load more if they were a bloody sight cheaper at the time ! The new 350Z is going to come in at less than the Z32 of 12 years ago ! Which taking into account inflation (although some car prices have been static-ish over the past few years) still makes the new one look a bargain.
  21. Don't think so somehow. I only pay £25 for 5 litres now, and I don't really care as to whether it has a little yellow seashell on the bottle - it has all the right standards marks on it, which are more important ! ;)
  22. Halfords supply the nice (expensive) Bosch ones - work a treat, especially when combined with Rain-X
  23. No, but people might if the sort of bloke who worked there could arrange for a cheap supply ! ;)
  24. The VIN plate on the drivers side is embossed and so shouldn't be blank, although it would be quite easy to polish the printing off. It is labeled in both English and Japanese. Additionally, the chassis number is on the front of the bulkhead.
  25. Really, well I presume that's a pretty efficient way of trashing catalysts and silencers then, not to mention a waste of fuel ...
