Is this place like Big Brother ?
Quite likely, but of course it depends upon who's wearing them. Now I've not seen BB, but if it were, for the sake of argument Kylie, then I might not complain much .... If however, it were young Timmy Turbo, then I think I'd prefer not to know !

SERIOUS warning!
Friend of mine was selling his car, someone came to view, asked to look at the service book (which has the key number written inside), and went away without buying it. The next night the car was nicked, theory is that he memorised the key number, got one cut and drove it away. Easy peasy ....

stalling problems
Lookee here, young man :- http://home.swipnet.se/e-solutions/IdleTech.html http://home.swipnet.se/e-solutions/IdleTech2.html If you follow all this then you are virtually guaranteed to fix it. My money would be on the AAC/FICD valve and maybe the idle base itself. Does it still stall when you have the A/C on ?

Rear Light Panels - Not lighting up
Might be easier to get one in the UK if we know the spec. Does Duffmans place sell stuff like that ? If not then it's RS or Maplin I would guess.

Right Nelson Mr Oil Expert.
I had a dirty great magnet stuck to my oil filter for a while but it fell off eventually. Did cut open an old oil filter to see if it caught anything, but found nothing at all.

Quick insurance Q.
Typically you will get 60-75% back if you cancel after a month. Most policies now have a section with a sliding scale which describes the refund for cancelation.

S-03's last longer than S-02's - but not much !

SERIOUS warning!
They use a fishing rod. Makes it very easy if you have a remote alarm too !

Loud Squeaking When Breaking!!!!
Yup, those shims should be cleaned and lubricated lightly with Copaslip. That will probably cure it (presuming the shims are actually there!)

Toyo Proxies T1-S. Any one tried them?
I ordered a set of Proxys from MyTyres on Friday. Don't think price includes fitting, but they do have arrangements with local garages where they will install for what equates to just under £10 per tyre.

tightening wheels with an air tool
I always loosen and correctly retorque my wheel nuts whenever ANY garage has been near them. Call me distrusting or just plain pedantic, but it leaves me with peace of mind and no warped discs. When I first test drove my car it clearly had warped discs, the importer agreed to fix them and it was duly delivered with new Nissan discs and pads. Two weeks later they were warped, I had them skimmed and have always torqued the nuts properly ever since with no more problems on the next two pairs of discs.

Higher Watt Head Light Bulb Advice
Now you're just being picky LOL However, yes, technically electrons flow from -ve to +ve, but people generally talk about current flow as being +ve to -ve. Dunno why, doesn't really matter. Just make sure all your wires have good, clean, sound connections, definitely don't go over 100w bulbs (I have 85w in the dips) and try cleaning the lenses within the headlight assembly - it makes a big difference. Also, don't get too hung up on the wattage of the bulb, I can show you a device that soaks up 100w, makes loads of heat and produces no light whatsoever - it's called a resistor ! All the links to the stuff people have done are on my site.

Anyone have Windows-based Racelogic software settings?
Can't remember exactly, but my notes seem to indicate it went like this :- Racelogic wire-----ABS wire----Wheel Red---------------Light green--FL Blue--------------Blue---------FR Yellow------------Brown-------RL Green-------------Orange------RR TimmyT's, Ajay's and Az's will all be the same. The write up from TT.net puts them in an odd order, something like RL, FR, RR, FL I think ...
