Brake Pads
Yeah, but not too liberal application of coppaslip, otherwise it melts and runs all over the wheels, discs etc !

Help with a water leak please
LOL don't think gravity changes much over night, it's probably because the water cools and contracts ! :D

Prices on brakes?
Hmmm, now I could tell you a story about them, but all I will say is it's really hard work getting the correct discs for an NSX !

Defo a sign of waaaaay to much money
Ferraris are just too common, has to be the Lambo for me.

credit where its due
If you want basic servicing then James Barr would be fine. If you have interesting/difficult technical problems then SE at Maldon (01621) 858856. If you just want diagnostics run and maybe some servicing then I can do that for you. I also have other contacts for stuff like clutch changes at pretty competitive rates.

Some cool pics of 7 second zed
So which part of that car is from a Zed ? LMAO :D (apart from the indicators!)

Chime Chime Chime
The annoying little box sits above the clocks under the top cover. See here for silencing :- http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/Alarm.htm

Best tyres?
What is the treadwear number for these Nexen things ? As a comparision S-03's are 220, Proxies are 260. Larger number is better in terms of longevity, but not grip !

Change of circumstances
Hmmm, I see a pattern emerging here ! Anyway, keep hold of the Zed, believe it or not they can be more reliable than women LOL - no offence Ajay, Emero etc ;)

****ing Paypal
Some of these services are now getting fussy about which email addresses you can use to sign up (and rightly so). So hotmail etc may not be accepted !

The parts/service guy at James Barr Nissan in Bishops Stortford is always helpful, not always knowledgable, but at least helpful, and they don't much care it's an import.

Nuts !!!!!!!!
They're valve caps. What do they weigh, is there enough MASS to affect the wheel balance ?

Help!
Sounds like a tickover problem to me. Take a look at the tech pages on http://www.z-car.net , specifically the ones about idle and hesitation. And for a very quick test, see if it also does it when the a/c is on.

PS & Aircon pump removal
Blimey, it's like something from "Close Encounters" ! LOL :D

Strut Braces, yay or nay?
There are some really smart ones which come out of Japan. Do a search for the "Carbing" ones. And also these :- http://www.excite.co.jp/world/url/body?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tokyoauto.co.jp%2Fmenu%2Ftop%2Fz32%2Foriginalparts%2Ffront_towerbar.htm&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2

Yeah, granite clocks - Nelson would have a fit though ! LOL

Car starts then dies immediately, then won't start at all!
There are a couple of spare PTU's around, so I'm sure someone will be able to help you out. Cleaning contacts is the best first step though. If broken the PTU's can somethimes be fixed as well, but I wouldn't recommend it as a long-tem solution.

Repair auto box myself?
Hehehe, your gearbox rebuilding will probably be as reliable as my ECU recoding - now where is that hex calculator ... :D

Don't let friends drive the Z
[Vulture] What is hapenning to the manual gearbox ? [/Vulture]

Happy Birthday Gio!!
Nothing left but the hangover now ! Happy daZe !

no drive
I guess that depends upon what has broken up and is blocking the filter. But I can virtually guarantee you that if you increase the power (with a boost controller etc) then your gearbox will be history. Been there, done that !

Anyone know where to get english map of...
Like this you mean ? http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/fuse-translation.htm
-
no drive
My guess is that you autobox is on the way out. Filters inside are getting clogged with bits of clutch plate & band etc preventing any oil pressure from building up. Rebuild time - brace yourself for a large bill !
