You have them for an NA ????

Is red the fastest colour?
Well as white paint reflects more visible light than say black paint then black must absorb the photons therefore increasing the mass and slowing down the car ! So a white car will be faster than a black car ! And if you don't believe me then that is why a black car will be hotter when standing in the sun ! ;)

Back Firing
Very likely an air leak on the exhaust somewhere. You'll need to get underneath and check it out.

extra boost
Get yerself an accurate boost gauge before you fiddle with stuff like this ! The std chip will cope fine with 12.5psi and you'll notice a significant improvement in performance. However, you may need to tweak the timing a bit to ensure there's no detting and if the car is an import then you need to be pretty careful about the type of fuel you use - Optimax is favourite.

neweraimports
I know some of the MR2 girls like NewEra and I haven't personally heard a bad word about them.

Adjustable shocks !!
Not seen the HKS shocks so this is pure guesswork, but what AndrewG described sounded like adjusting the damping, not the ride height/spring length etc. Damping needs to approximately match the spring rate otherwise you could get all sorts of odd bouncy handling problems.

Polished Plenum-ny thingy
That's becuase you're 'off topic' and talking about a different part ! LOL :D

some piccies of Billing last year
Well that's charming innit ! I'm close to the lake list now too ... just because I (and most others it seems) voted that you were trying to buy Duffers arse ! LOL :D

Speeding
That's why they have so many accidents when attending an alleged crime or chasing joyriders !
-
mesh
That is why you should have the pukka stainless wire stuff, rather than the pressed aluminium stuff. However, more expensive and much harder to work ....

Se Maxflow
I have a feeling they're about £7 each from Halfords. Just take one in and ask the oik behind the counter to find you one the same (except cleaner! LOL:D).

Polished Plenum-ny thingy
Look up metal finishers in Yellow Pages, there's bound to be someone worth a call nearish you.

Polished Plenum-ny thingy
Hey Dave, saw your car today !!!! Engineless again ...... Don't use your favourite local garage for that, I saw someone elses that they did and there are other people around who do a better job for less money.

Beep Beep Beep bloody Beep
Well mine is also an import and it was an auto ! However, the fact that the unit appears to be held in place by cable ties rather than the plastic socket thing that would locate onto a metal tab may be significant. Perhaps it's supposed to be higher up inside the dash ???? Well at least you know what to look for ...

Beep Beep Beep bloody Beep
OK, found the little sucker. It's the grey box in the middle of this picture and to put it into context that's the clutch pedal in front of it.
-
Beep Beep Beep bloody Beep
Bummer ! At least you shouldn't have had to take much apart to get to the little blck box, it's only the two screws that hold the cover over the speedo/tacho etc .... Gonna have a look at mine now ....

Beep Beep Beep bloody Beep
Hmmm, really ? Sounds like it is .... ... guess we'll soon find out .... ;)

O2 Sensor replacement?
It's the 22mm one, so should be OK.
-
Beep Beep Beep bloody Beep
I'm pretty certain it's the same little black box above the speedo that makes all the chiming noise (speed, reversing, keys in ignition with door open and lights on with door open), so you can just unplug it if it bothers you that much. My speed chime is history but I can tolerate the others - maybe I don't go backwards that often !

Two-page EPROM
Seems like a way forward to me.

O2 Sensor replacement?
That link doesn't work for me. What you need is a Blue-Point oxygen sensor wrench, part no. YA8875 Just like this :- http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/pro_det.asp?search=true&item_ID=11226&PartNo=YA8875&SUB_Cat_ID=1618762&SUB_Cat_NAME=Fuel+Systems&Cat_ID=1618715&Cat_NAME=Diagnostic&group_id=1448&group_NAME=Sensor,%20Oxygen&store=snapon-store&tool=all

For you Mr Dufflecoat;)
There's funny red marks on some of those notes - look like they've been in one of those bank security cases that been broken open and then sprayed red dye everywhere ! :D

Tyres Help
Sounds like you currently have the wrong tyres on the rears.

decat or not
Sort the handling and the brakes (oh, and reduce mass of course ! ;) )
