5 sets of tyres... since Oct
I hope they got the alignment right this time ! Just had mine done last week, had toe out rather than toe in on one of the fronts, and too much camber on one of the rears. Time for new tyres for me too ...

According to the manual :-

Automatic Gear Box
That is normal operation. Check the fluid level, make sure it's clean and doesn't smell burnt, then as someone else said do the autobox diag.

Interior clock on 300zx import
That's just a sign of a knackered clock, easily fixed. Have done a couple of dozen at least.

Some views on the following idea
If it's an NA then it's a good candidate for LPG convesrion. Geezer at work here has one (although an auto) and he reckons it's the equiv of about 40mpg in running costs.

overheating
You should perhaps be thinking about the waterpump and maybe the efficiency of the radiator - could be be gunged up inside ?

Hmmm, I might be interested in that, if I haven't made my own by then (I have a cunning plan but no MIG welder) or bought one of the trendy Jap ones.

Boost jets - Arggh!!
Harve would be a good source for these. I trust you have an accurate boost gauge and have double checked the ignition timing before you start experimenting with such things !
-
turbo boost
+7 (x100mmHg) is approximately equal to 14psi So reading +6 would suggest approx 12psi, although the gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Normally boost would max out around 9 - 9.5psi, so it could be that your gauge is a little inaccurate , or that your boost has been raised a little.

Is Jezz S13 a 2-faced piece of sh!t or what?
Branners, I'm genuinely curious (as I virtually never visit other car forums), how are they funded ? The few others I do visit are usually helped along by by manufacturers or trade in some way.

chip for 555cc injectors
Well Devin's is downloadable for free if you want to try that. Other than that you'll be looking at the usual suppliers. A custom mapped chip would be worth considering as you're clearly after lots of power.

Auto or manual ?

oil filter
C109 is their part number.

oil filter
Yep, many Nissans share the same one. I use the Champion jobbies from Halfords and it lists a bunch of the Nissan models being compatible.
-
changing the diff oil?
Diff oil gets changed even less frequently than gearbox oil, so bearing in mind yours is probably about 10 or more years old, then I'd say do it.

Is Jezz S13 a 2-faced piece of sh!t or what?
