Guest crazy_eddie
OK!!, For people who have had their plenum polished up like a shiny new pin. How much?? My local garage (and we all know who) has quoted me £400. Is there anyone else cheaper?

Guest crazy_eddie
Thanks guys for the advice. When Pete gave me the quote last night he said it was 10 hours work. So I am being charged £40 an hour which I thought was very steep. I am seeing Pete on Friday to pick up my souvenier pistons, so I might haggle with him on this one. If I am unlucky, is there anywhere local to me (ESSEX) that might be able to do it cheaper? Pete has booked my Engine insertion for Monday 21st July (this is so I can get the car for Billing), so I would be looking for someone who could do it nearly strait away.
