  1. Mike Feeney may be able to help you out with some advice, he's not a garage, but he's not far from you and he does have a guy around his way who does know Zeds.
  2. You need to follow the procedures to check for a boost leak - I suspect you'll find a big one !
  3. Ahh, now you say car's not pulling at all, before you said it was OK. Go with Jeff's suggestion.
  4. Well if you really think it's running right then there shouldn't be a problem. Aside from that you are in standard boost until the water temp reaches 60 deg C (I think), after that the BSCV are operated and advanced boost is enabled, but in either case you should still see about 7psi when cold or a bit more with the boost jets in. Still think a vacuum line will have come off the boost gauge though.
  5. If it was running badly then I would say you have seized a turbo, but as it's running right then I'd say one of the vacuum pipes near the boost gauge has popped off.
  6. Lucky you weren't at Le Mans, that was about 3.5 Euros for half a litre !
  7. Ahh, I know the problem, the partial refund disabled the subscription - I'll fix it.
  8. Aha, now that is one of mine. It switches between two different maps. Can't remember what they were now though !!
  9. Happy Birthday
  10. Thanks guys ! Busy working today, but may manage a :duffer: or two tonight ...
  11. Everybody should get one, it has very likely gone into a spam filter, if it never appears.
  12. Don't think I did much to help in the end, but it was good to meet you anyway. Cheers
  13. Basically, yep.
  14. Don't assume that your rev counter is 100% accurate !
  15. I have a spare Mines ECU, in fact it's running in my car at the moment, runs very well too. Not got around to doing a direct comparison of the maps yet though.
  16. If you have a series II PTU then I'd just trust it and leave it there. By all means swap the Series I in/out, but only change one thing at a time. Coilpack wise, just change one at a time. If there is no change with the first one then it must have been good, so leave the new one in and use that one to swap around the other 5 - one at a time. For the tacho - twiddle the screw and see what happens ! Can't remember but is that the one where you need to drill a little hole in the casing in order to adjust it in-situ ?
  17. Hmmm, well looks like I may have fixed it ... lets hope so ...
  18. LOL - that's your problem not theirs - you should have had the foresight to bet on the winner ! ;)
  19. Paypal usually happens immediately, unless it's a cheque payment, but there have been some notification errors recently, I didn't think it was stopping automatic registrations - I'll look into it.
  20. Dunno what the problem is, it's a Team sport - they want to win the constructors championship, it just happens that the driver who wins the Drivers championship usually means that they will win the Constructors championship as well. Of course if they can help their driver win the Drivers championship rather than get a 2nd or 3rd, then why shouldn't they ?
  21. The manual doesn't say, as far as I can tell. Just 51-65psi at 3,000rpm idle speed in neutral.
  22. Sounds like it's worth a try. The smoke would need to be pretty dense to show up though I reckon.
  23. It certainly was - thanks !
  24. Don't think blowing the smoke over it would work very well, too much draft from the fan etc. And as for other other comment regarding the pressure, well if it runs up to one bar when driving, then I'd rather see it fail in the garage than on the road. Anyway, I use the normal type of boost leak detector and that works very well.
