I didn't change mine, in fact I don't recollect the V5 stating that mine was auto to begin with.

I managed to ship that sort of stuff to Spain for a quite reasonable price. I used Parcel2Go.

I understand from Facebook and Z Club posts that Darrell has had a big accident, in a Merc, not the Z, which may have saved his life ! It may not need fixing, have you checked whether the power to the clock is maintained when the ignition is off ?

Change the oil and if you have an import then you could consider fitting the cooler off the European model.

Sounds like your install disc is corrupted. You may get away with making an image copy of that disc and reinstalling from the new disc.

Sorry, only have engine ECU's. The ones you need should be easily/cheaply obtainable from any breaker, they are common and seldom go wrong.

I've got a couple of ECU's which do this. Only cure is replacement in all the cases I've seen.

I'll probably have an ECU, what is it you need ? Can be socketed/chipped or not ...

Deffo part of a coil spring. BMW's are also favourite for breaking the same - my E46 has done it at least twice.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. As you will have realised the Z (well all the 2+2's) has two baby seats as standard in the back, so I'll have no excuse for not bringing him to some meets. Although my Z is SORN'ed at the moment, hopefully that will change in the future.

Matthew, 8lb 6oz was born at 23:35 last night. Only 14 days late which led to a bit of a marathon hospital session, starting on New Years Eve and technically not quite finished until sometime tomorrow when I'll be bringing Mum and Son home !

You never told me about the cars ! :lol:

I have a good trickle charger/conditioner and it seems to do the trick.

There will be a big jump when that VAT goes up too.
