Just watched it - pretty funny, did get a little bit bored with the lake stuff though ...
  4. No, will be in the diseasal as there's no MOT on the Z yet ...
  5. You can get a full blanking kit but I reckon it's impossible to do the job properly unless the engine is out. I blanked off the holes in the bottom of the plenum, took and angle grinder to the two pipes around the side of the plenum and put plumbing blanking fittings on them (dunno what they're called). The vacuum pipes were blanked off and the solenoid junked. Much easier than trying to bolt the stupid pipes to the underneath of the plenum in-situ.
  6. Plenum is back on and it started first time and ticks over perfectly ! So basically, one of the injectors was blocked and it turns out that two of the others were in a right state too, so all have been cleaned, all the connectors for the injectors, AAC etc etc have been replaced, the throttle bodies bypassed, the EGR bypassed and other stuff I've probably forgotten. Anyway, MASSIVE thanks to KrysMayo who came over to give me a hand this afternoon and stayed for about 6 hours - we were so busy he didn't even get a cup of tea !
  7. Bypassed mine today, mainly because I couldn't face connecting it back up when the plenum was going back on.

I just went round there and they'd sold out of beer, got a pint of milk though ...
  12. Inspired by the tv show, which I find very amusing, what really hacks you off ? Maybe I'm easily irritated but I can think of hundreds of things, so just to start with one that can be relevant to this forum. Why do people have to refer to a car as "her" or "she" when it's clearly an inanimate object ? Off you go ...
  13. Oi, Mr Turbo ! Nooooooooooooooooo ....
  14. Yes, you can buy them in quite a few places. Mine works for airplanes, cars etc
  15. I'll be there, Karen too.
  16. You may need more repairs than you expect without the RLTC !!! Anyway, may have just been some diesel onthe road ...
  17. What's that old saying about too good to be true ....
  18. Received, thanks and welcome !
  19. Erm, dunno, never looked at it, will have a look at the wiring diagram sometime ...
  20. In Italian it means two, on UK number plates it means gay ! LOL
  21. Molegrips on the old gearknob are often required so it's likely to be damaged unless you can wrap cloth around it. There is a small risk of damaging the plastic bushes on the bottom of the lever, but never heard of anyone doing that.
  22. They just unscrew in the normal way, are usually loctite'd on though, so tend to be tighter than hell.
  23. A mate of mine managed to married and divorced three times and each time he got cleaned out. I heard him say "I think next time I'll just find a bird I don't like and give her my house!".
  24. Good work. The really tricky part is adjusting the speedo whilst you're driving ! ;)
  25. Yep, he got mine for me.
